Trattoria Al Vecchio Club Rosanero In Palermo

I had lunch yesterday with a group of friends. I don't give five stars for only two reasons: 1- in the swordfish and aubergine caponata the swordfish was evidently on holiday, 2- the waiter was really impatient and rude. I understand that a table can cause a bit of confusion with the orders, but customers are not threatened with never coming back because they all have to order a coffee at the same time because some have gone out to smoke a cigarette. I understand anyway, but it's not done. That said, the rest of the menu was good (especially the pasta dishes) as well as other starters, including prawn crudités. And let it be an eternal ode to one of the few places that has the HONESTY to call itself an "osteria", presenting menus - AND PRICES - of an osteria (and not of a starred restaurant), including the now disappeared half portions! Lastly, very clean bathrooms (which never hurts).

Good food, the kind that is good for the heart. The right drink to leave satisfied. The history of a club. Extraordinary value for money.

Always safe, you eat very well, you don't spend too much and the atmosphere is familiar. Now I go there often and I always bring friends who want to try Palermo cuisine.

The old club is a simple trattoria that is enjoying some success for its traditional Palermo dishes. Obviously this isn't novelle cuisine... You've been warned... But the food is good. The sfincione cutlet is excellent.... Which you can digest in two days.... But it's worth it. Honest prices. Friendly atmosphere and adequate service.

Pretty good food; terrible service. The staff at the checkout hardly says hello and, in general, the impression is that they are doing you a favor just by making you eat. I don't think I will return.

Quickly dropped by for a plate of pasta. Welcoming, friendly staff and the Anciova sauce was spectacular! Incredibly low prices for the quantity and quality. LONG LIVE SICILY!! GO PALERMO

Evening in a trattoria where everything brings back the Palermo team, very kind staff and pleasant dishes, excellent cannoli made by them

Simply fantastic, you eat very well. Personally, I took the caponata with swordfish, a spaghettone with sea urchins and red prawns and finally an exquisite and crunchy Sicilian cannoli. Highly recommended

Very characteristic place... kindness and courtesy from all the staff, always attentive to customer needs, excellent first courses and abundant dishes, 2 of us had a house starter and 4 half portions of pasta to taste their dishes.... we were so full we couldn't breathe 😉 everything was really excellent
