Excellent restaurant for homemade Sicilian food. Very good, a wide variety of dishes at a good price. Super fast service. Looking forward to returning!

Following the B&B owner's recommendation, we came here for dinner on the first night of our stay in Palermo. We ordered a half portion of Palina sardines, a portion of anchovies, and a half portion of minced meat. Given that a half portion is equivalent to a full portion in restaurants elsewhere in Italy, we unfortunately left out half the anchovies because there was so much of it, so much. The quality was truly excellent; you could see and taste the fresh, homemade cooking. For our second course, we ordered grilled swordfish and sardine meatballs, and they were also delicious. What can I say? A rustic and very good place, a great location because it's in the center. Prices? A dream. In 10 years of traveling around Italy, I've never seen such a price for a plate of pasta, and what a plate of pasta... highly recommended, and I can't wait to go back.

Typical cuisine at super low prices, with incredibly generous portions.
House antipasto and a plate of perfectly al dente homemade fresh pasta.
The service is good and the place is lovely, with a unique interior featuring stone walls and wood decor that adds to its authentic charm.

A highly recommended place to eat in Palermo, just steps from Via Maqueda. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

The restaurant is small but very traditional.
The food is truly excellent and affordable; I've had a hard time finding such low prices in other trattorias.
The service is fast and the staff friendly, perhaps a little too hasty at times.
One thing to be aware of is that not all dishes on the menu are always available, as they vary based on daily availability.
I also recommend making a reservation.

Thanks to a taxi driver's recommendation, I discovered this place, where I ate excellent Palermo specialties. More than generous portions, freshly prepared, with fresh and vibrant flavors, a varied menu featuring both meat and fish. And a surprising fried cassatina for dessert. The house wine was acceptable, the service was hasty (one of the heavily pierced waiters had the disgusted expression of someone unwilling to work), and the price was very reasonable.

An incredible restaurant, a culinary revelation.
€35 each for two people, including wine, after trying about six dishes.
I recommend the sea urchin pasta, the swordfish caponata, and the squid ink pasta and salmon with tomato duo.
