Spartan but welcoming restaurant, recommended by friends and located in the center of a small street just behind Via Maqueda. Typical Sicilian cuisine of excellent quality. Lively, "warm" and very particular environment. It's impossible to pass through Palermo without spending an evening in this place

I had lunch yesterday with a group of friends. I don't give five stars for only two reasons: 1- in the swordfish and aubergine caponata the swordfish was evidently on holiday, 2- the waiter was really impatient and rude. I understand that a table can cause a bit of confusion with the orders, but customers are not threatened with never coming back because they all have to order a coffee at the same time because some have gone out to smoke a cigarette. I understand anyway, but it's not done. That said, the rest of the menu was good (especially the pasta dishes) as well as other starters, including prawn crudités. And let it be an eternal ode to one of the few places that has the HONESTY to call itself an "osteria", presenting menus - AND PRICES - of an osteria (and not of a starred restaurant), including the now disappeared half portions! Lastly, very clean bathrooms (which never hurts).

Good food, the kind that is good for the heart. The right drink to leave satisfied. The history of a club. Extraordinary value for money.

Always safe, you eat very well, you don't spend too much and the atmosphere is familiar. Now I go there often and I always bring friends who want to try Palermo cuisine.

Pretty good food; terrible service. The staff at the checkout hardly says hello and, in general, the impression is that they are doing you a favor just by making you eat. I don't think I will return.

The old club is a simple trattoria that is enjoying some success for its traditional Palermo dishes. Obviously this isn't novelle cuisine... You've been warned... But the food is good. The sfincione cutlet is excellent.... Which you can digest in two days.... But it's worth it. Honest prices. Friendly atmosphere and adequate service.
