Highly recommended. Typical Florentine trattoria with genuine and abundant dishes, very kind and helpful staff, welcoming and characteristic environment. We had dinner as a family twice during our stay in Florence, including on New Year's Eve. The owner was very kind to reserve a table for us. Very honest about the price, which was not doubled for the eve, unlike many other places, where they even asked for a deposit of 40 euros per person just to book.

Do make a reservation, they are always packed, the Pici Cacio e Pepe was amazing, so was the roast pork, the house wine was a bit too dry for my liking, they do have a good wine selection. We didn’t try the bistecca alla Fiorentina but that looked like a fan favorite, everyone around us was ordering it, they do have some additional daily specials.

I had the opportunity to have Christmas dinner with the company in this historic restaurant in the heart of Florence. Generous and tasty portions. Absolutely try Peposo and Roast Beef.

Piacevole sorpresa. Ci ha servito un ragazzo giovane gentilissimo, pietanze buonissime (in particolare i pici) e abbondanti. Tutto sembrava casereccio, nel senso buono del termine. Prezzo nella media. Da tornarci

Déçu par un service assez désagréable. On avait réservé avec the Fork : un table au fond contre un mur et une mauvaise odeur… on a demandé une autre table : au fond plus encore et à côté des toilettes … vraiment dommage car la cuisine était plutôt bonne. Pas sûr que je recommanderais.

Trattoria Sant'Agostino

22/12/2024: Amazing place to have a Fiorentina, stuffed onion is a must and the cantuccio with the vin santo at the end was a complete experience, words to describe. The staff very friendly and accoglienti!
16/12/2024: All good. Been back 2 times and will return a third.
