Trattoria al Toscanaccio In Milano

Very warm and welcoming restaurant, very fast and professional service. I ordered a platter of cured meats and an amazing Milanese cutlet, all good and the cured meats very fresh. The choice of wines is also not bad.

The service is a bit slow compared to other restaurants, the day I went there was only one waiter. The food was great! Tiramisu was average.

E' un locale frequentato soprattutto da habituè che si ritrovano a pranzo, per un break lavorativo. Tavoli piccoli con commensali gomito a gomito, cappa in cucina che tira poco, stante l'odore di fritto che si sente in sala. Il cibo è buono, naturalmente con una connotazione territoriale toscana, porzioni abbondanti. Coi primi ti portano il tegame in tavola. Quanto al servizio invece sono tante le lacune. Non essendo un habitué arrivo e rimango minuti in mezzo alla sala ad aspettare che un cameriere mi faccia accomodare (avevo prenotato ma nessuno ne sapeva nulla). Mi siedo al tavolo e arriva acqua e pane ma per avere il menu devo richiederlo. Altri minuti in attesa che qualcuno venga a prendere la comanda ("Pensavamo che aspettasse altre persone" la giustificazione, ma avevo prenotato per uno!). L'antipasto arriva anche in tempi decenti mentre per la carbonara di mare ho dovuto aspettare una mezzoretta. Conto normale per Milano, tempi e servizio assolutamente non milanesi.

Ristorante perfetto per una cena, in coppia o con amici, da ricordare. Il cibo è a dir poco eccezionale, dagli antipasti al dolce. Materie prime di qualità cucinate col cuore, lo si percepisce dall’atmosfera familiare e attenta ai clienti. Una bellissima scoperta, da ripetere assolutamente.
