I trusted the reviews for this place, but in my opinion, not all of them reflect reality. The location is beautiful, with a beautiful view and terrace, ample parking, and an elegant setting, even though there's practically no distance between tables, offering virtually zero privacy. The service is good, with friendly and helpful waiters. As for the food, given the reviews, my expectations were high, but it was nothing special. The ingredients may be good, but the execution leaves something to be desired. The desserts were terrible, the "Corse Caldo" was flavorless, and their best dishes are probably meat-based, not fish-based. Offering microfiltered water is certainly ethical, but offering a bottled alternative wouldn't hurt. The sparkling water was not very fizzy, and the prices were moderately high.

It's always difficult to convey strong, beautiful feelings. I believe it's hard to find a place in our Euganean Hills that's so special, so delightful, so exhilarating. Go and let yourself be pampered by Beauty, Grace, and Good Taste.

We dined on the beautiful terrace overlooking the hills; the atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good and delicious. The bill came to just over €50 per person, splitting a bottle of wine between four of us. The price was fair, everything was positive, and I would definitely return.

Situated in a spectacular location, the ambiance is meticulously maintained. Delicious food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, eager to explain both the dishes and the wines. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

Al Pirio Restaurant is very elegant, with very kind and helpful waiters. From appetizers to dessert, everything is beautifully decorated, and the dishes are extraordinary and excellent. With a bottle of wine, an exceptional Euganean Hills Rosé. Congratulations!! We'll be back! ❤️❤️❤️

AMAZING food, worth the price (with starter, first course and main course, about €40/person)

My favorite restaurant. Saturday night I ate bigoli with duck ragu flavored with truffle, the best dish I remember eating in recent years. Very good wines, spectacular view. I love it. Only negative note: the wait... but it was packed, that's okay.

Piatti nella media ma miseri! Trippa fritta??? Ma quando mai!! Dov'è la trippa!! Nel menù scrivono trippa fritta e ti portano il "cuppitiello di carta Napoletano" con 4 polpettine che di tutto sanno meno che di trippa!! Primi piatti miseri e prezzi esagerati! Servizio pessimo, tempi di attesa biblici!! Capisco che il locale era pieno, ma santiddio ORGANIZZATEVI MEGLIO!! Haa mi raccomando, se ci andate, andateci con una macchina con un motore potente, altrimenti dovete scendere e spingere a piedi la macchina! Strada molto ripida e strettissima con tornanti da far rizzare i capelli!

Purtroppo, la mia esperienza in questo ristorante è stata ben al di sotto delle aspettative. L’idea di una cucina semplice e genuina viene completamente stravolta da piatti eccessivamente elaborati, con ingredienti sovraccarichi e senza equilibrio. Quello che dovrebbe essere un piatto tradizionale diventa un vero e proprio mappazzone, dove ogni sapore si perde in una confusione di spezie usate in modo indiscriminato. Il servizio non migliora l’esperienza: tempi di attesa lunghi, personale poco attento e un atteggiamento che non giustifica i prezzi decisamente troppo alti rispetto alla qualità offerta. Per quello che si paga, ci si aspetterebbe almeno una maggiore cura nella presentazione e nell’armonia dei sapori. In definitiva, un locale che promette semplicità e autenticità ma che finisce per offrire piatti eccessivi, caotici e mal bilanciati, il tutto a un costo ingiustificato.
