Absolutely 5-star food: there were five of us, and we all enjoyed the dishes. The only flaw in the experience was that when I made the reservation (made on a Monday for the following Saturday), I wasn't informed that, due to the large group, we would have to settle for the entrees offered that day, which were limited and different from those listed on the à la carte menu. If a specific à la carte menu is listed on the website, I expect to find the full offering, unless explicitly stated. The waitress was very kind and efficient, but unclear about portion sizes. Would I return? Yes, definitely, because we had a wonderful meal; I'm just sorry for the small inconvenience, although it could simply be the restaurant's format (it was our first time here).

Excellent Piedmontese restaurant with reasonable prices. The atmosphere is a bit noisy.

Friendly staff, excellent service, and fair prices. The mixed Piedmontese antipasto was amazing, and the first and second courses were also excellent. The only thing that disappointed us was the tiramisu, which wasn't nearly as good as the rest of the dishes. I didn't get a chance to try the other desserts. I'll definitely be back. Recommended.

I could say that I started 40 years ago to savor what (Francesco the first owner was also a petrol station manager Then the 3 partners arrived (Diego, Giovanni, Franco or Giuseppe. I don't remember well excellent service, friendliness, education very clean environment Rich food and always excellent champagne risotto in addition to the trolleys of meats, vegetables and desserts always recommended

I went there for lunch today. The appetizers were good, even the risotto with sparkling wine was good. But the paniccia was definitely not that good, the rice was overcooked and looked like it had been passed through a mill.

Una classica trattoria dove poter assaporare un menù fisso (con diverse scelte di portate e quantità di cibo a prezzi differenti) con le classiche portate. Nel complesso non mi posso lamentare di nulla, però non mi ha lasciato quella sensazione che mi farebbe ritornare. Per questo mi sento di dare un 3 su 5 ad una cena sufficiente.

Per chi lo ha conosciuto negli anni, fa effetto vedere nel weekend il parcheggio e la grande sala interna con tanti posti vuoti. La nuova gestione ha fatto allontanare parte della clientela, anche ingiustamente. Il risotto è ancora buono (purtroppo arriva in un contenitore di plastica...), i carrelli delle carni abbondanti così come i dolci. Tre i menù a partire da 22 euro, quindi prezzi giusti. Si avverte tuttavia che non c'è più quell'atmosfera di prima, pur se il personale è gentile, anche se un po' scoordinato, con attese a volte lunghe. Sarà una certa freddezza o la mancanza della bottiglia di vino novarese sempre sul tavolo. Comunque vogliamo bene al Gufo e ogni tanto ci torneremo
