Trattoria Al Grop In Tavagnacco

Excellent experience in this restaurant in Tavagnacco in the province of Udine in a secluded area. Beautiful view from the glass windows of the park and the mountain landscape. Too bad you can't see anything or almost nothing at night. The room is beautiful, well furnished and completed with a fine mise en place and the characteristic Furlan fogolar. Quality food, well cooked and well presented, truly high level... as well as the prestigious local wines. Too bad about the desserts... we're a little far from the goal. Very courteous and helpful waiters, attentive to the customer, compliments for the education and professionalism, owners a little unfriendly, friendly and polite yes but too minimal towards new customers unlike some regulars, an observer notices this difference... I, being one, have observed this. Keep an eye on the prices... I found them a little high... the quality is fine, the goodness is fine... the excuse of a holiday, anything is fine but we are in an era where prices are truly high. For example, 5 tortelli (navels) for 18.00 euros, there is no quality that can handle this price. Not to mention a glass of wine for 8/10 euros. But at least on a positive note they were excellent dishes. But when they bring you a dessert with six chiacchiere (crostoli) and two small pancakes with cream, not beautiful to look at and with almost enough flavor (see photo), for 10 euros... it's pure madness, at this price a dessert must be well constructed and almost at the top of its taste. As a hotel, 8n is a beautiful reality, beautiful and well furnished rooms in an excellent position and with a beautiful view as described for the gastronomic part. An experience in this beautiful place is recommended.

Ristorante sulle prime colline a nord di Udine. Ambiente rustico ma curato ed elegante. Menù del territorio e rispettoso della stagionalità. Ottima la rosa di Gorizia con speck indicata tra gli antipasti. Molto interessante il carrello dei dolci. Buona e variegata la cantina. Una certezza

A nice place that offers good traditional dishes, but not too particular and with decidedly overrated prices. We have been there several times over the years, but we will not go back again due to the prices being objectively TOO HIGH. The desserts are served from a very inviting trolley, but the portions (we are talking about a slice of cake) they are never the same, being served freshly at the table, and each portion still costs 10 EUROS, TOO MUCH!.

Very nice place, friendly staff but not very attentive since they didn't ask us how cooked the meat was on the grill. Portions not abundant for what we paid. Good food but not unforgettable. Surely the bill will be unforgettable because we paid at least 30% more.

As always and without ever missing a beat, going to eat at the Grop is a real consolation, very long tradition, passion for the quality of the raw materials, a team that works perfectly, a well-managed room, a splendid view (today there were deer walking on the lawn in front of the windows) and perfect value for money, as always good

Grop has always been a guarantee. This year, unfortunately, I found little care in bringing the dish to the table. Each course had the fingerprints of those who served the diners. I was very sorry, but otherwise everything was impeccable.

Nice place, attentive and present service. The dishes served, of good quality, were below expectations. The cost was too high, 20% less would have been correct and appreciated. I won't keep it in memory.

At the top, we had a very good time, it's a guarantee!

Bel ristorante, servizio professionale soprattutto sui vini e ottima carta dei vini. Il cibo era buono, piatti tipoci locali ma niente di speciale. Ottima materia prima con discreti sapori che non mi hanno fatto dire wow e non ritornerei per mangiare gli stessi piatti per una seconda volta. Il famoso carrello dei dolci ero ben servito, sabbiosa con crema più buona della torta, sacher buona, strudel di mele lontano da quello tradizionale. Ottimi i vini. Prezzo per due antipasti (tortino e prosciutto) due secondi (polpettine) ed un dolce condiviso 140 euro compresi 30 euro vini.
