So, my wife and I came unexpectedly last Tuesday around 1 p.m. and we were very well received. We don't speak Italian, and the waiter did the best he could in English... until he told us that his colleague/boss spoke very good French (we're French)... and then the experience changed completely. The lady, incredibly kind and passionate, talked us through all the dishes on the menu and recommended mushrooms (I don't normally like mushrooms) and pasta with white ragout in incredible French without any accent (okay, she admitted she spent her entire childhood in France). We took everything she recommended and we had a great time. So, impeccable service, incredible food, and kindness (and French) that deserved the highest possible rating... we had a great time. THANK YOU!!

We sat in the restaurant as a family of 8 people, including children. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

The food was absolutely delicious! We all had pasta and loved it. Unfortunately, the service from the older gentleman (we think the boss) left a lot to be desired. He was extremely rude and ended up charging us for food we never ordered. When we pointed this out to him, he ran away screaming. The young waiter then apologized and brought us the correct bill. So, if you want good pasta, you've come to the right place, but unfortunately, the friendliness is lacking.

After a week in Rome, trying out countless restaurants, we can say we've found our favorite. There are so many good restaurants in the city, but often the waiters push us to eat and do their job mechanically. In this restaurant, you'll find attentive staff who genuinely care about you. My wife is pregnant, and after taking our order, the waiter came back to us to check that a particular dish wasn't meant for her (a dish made with raw eggs). The head waiter is passionate about his work and rushes around trying to satisfy all customers equally. We ate wonderfully, and the atmosphere is what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. The next time we return, this will be the first place we'll want to eat with our child.
