20/08/2024: I had the privilege of visiting Sakalleo restaurant and the experience was simply magical. The hostess is a fascinating figure, a fascinating mix of French and Sicilian culture, with a touch of theatrical glamor worthy of a character straight out of Cabaret. His engaging storytelling, graceful menu presentation and bewitching smile immediately capture attention. The food offered at Sakalleo is exceptional, and I hope it continues to maintain the same quality, if not improves upon it. The starter was a real pleasure for the palate, with a selection of raw and cooked flavors that harmonized perfectly. But the real surprise was the pasta with sea urchins, an off-menu dish that was offered to us. This touch of exclusivity added a special dimension to the dining experience. We were so impressed with Sakalleo that we returned twice in one week and were warmly welcomed on both occasions. I can't wait to stop at Sakalleo in Vittoria when we return from Switzerland. Although parking can be a bit complicated, with good planning it can be easily solved. The customers who frequent Sakalleo demonstrate that they have true culinary taste, an open mind and above all a refined palate. The people who recommended this restaurant to us turned out to be not just friends, but true friends, making the experience even more extraordinary.
