We have been to this restaurant several times, but the last experience was a bit disappointing in some respects, although the quality of the food remained up to expectations. The atmosphere of the restaurant is typical of a trattoria with a sober and warm elegance, a pleasant and well-kept environment. The cuisine certainly deserves a positive mention: the quality of the meat is excellent and every dish we tasted, especially the tartare, proved tasty and well prepared. However, the service is absolutely not up to the standards of the dishes served. During our last visit, we waited a good 50 minutes to receive the first course, a truly excessive time, especially considering that the tartare is a rather quick preparation. No one ever stopped by the table to ask how lunch was going and we sat for a total of 2 and a half hours. We had to get up to independently get first oil and salt, and then toothpicks. This level of inattention is difficult to accept, especially with a bill of 207 euros for two people (and a child who consumed only one schnitzel). Faced with such an wait, a small gesture such as a symbolic discount of 5 euros would have been appreciated, but instead not even a word of apology. It is understandable to wait with the restaurant almost full, but if it is not possible to guarantee an adequate service with the restaurant full, perhaps it would be appropriate to reconsider the number of seats, so as to better follow customers and serve within a reasonable time. In any case, I reiterate that this restaurant stands out for the excellent quality of the food. Unfortunately it allows itself to be penalized by a poor service. The quality of the cuisine deserves 5 stars, but a restaurant experience is not limited just to the food, and the service is a fundamental element.

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante per la prima volta, seppur frequentiamo Eraclea da molti anni. Partiamo dalla location, veramente molto bella e curata. Bellissima la presentazione di carni vicino alla zona brace. Menù veramente ricco, scelta di carni ottime. Il cameriere è stato gentilissimo nel guidarci nella scelta... la carne era veramente di qualità e ben cotta. Anche le lasagne per il bimbo ottime. Buona scelta di vini e dolci veramente ottimi. Prezzi direi giusti per la tipologia di pietanze e soprattutto per la qualità. Sicuramente ci torneremo...

Siamo stati oggi a pranzo con la famiglia, non lo conoscevamo ne avevamo solo sentito parlare. Beh locale molto carino e cibo buonissimo specializzati per brace e griglia ma anche i primi sono stati super. Consigliato sicuramente.
