Trattoria Ai Villini In Roma

Sono tornata indietro nel tempo, quando andavo con i miei genitori in queste trattorie tipiche Romane.. Tutto buono alla Romana!

Meine Frau und ich waren für 6 Tage in Rom und wir haben uns für dieses Lokal entschieden. An drei Abenden waren wir in dieser Trattoria. Es ist ein relativ einfaches Lokal, dessen Ausstattung einfach gehalten ist. Man kann zunächst meinen, dass die Bedienungen etwas unfreundlich sind. Italien scheint hier nicht den Hauptpreis als „Land des Lächelns“ gewinnen zu können. Aber die Qualität des Essens ist hervorragend und man lässt dieses Manko schnell vergessen. Wir hatten die Carbonara und die Tonnarelli cacio e pepe; auch bei den Desserts (Tiramisu, Pannacotta oder die Creme Caramel) stimmt die Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hier, für römische Verhältnisse, vollkommen in Ordnung. Mit ein paar italienischen Worten entlockt man der Bedienung auch ein Lächeln - die Sprachbarriere ist eher ungewollt, aber nunmal vorhanden. Wer sich unter Einheimischen wohl fühlt und keinen großen Schnickschnack erwartet, wird sich hier wohlfühlen.

I returned after many years and found the same welcoming environment as the classic Roman trattoria. Excellent food, always attentive service. A certainty. To visit.

Best Roman food, full of Italians and locals. It’s a traditional place with homemade delicious food. The pasta was original, far from typical plates, and the desserts were insane. Service was fast and efficient. They cared and advised about type, style, and amount. They have 4-5 original plates of meat with local style. Wine list with a few great quality price, we ordered a nice Nebiolo for 20€. It is worth a visit, best restaurant in Rome after 3 days here if you want to avoid tourist places and know something epic and unic.

Carbonara wins! It is the best I have eaten. It's because of the guanciale. So so tasty. The service was wonderful and we even talked about the recipe techinques for the recipe too.

Family-run trattoria, simple and genuine traditional Roman dishes, very nice owner, time has stopped here!

I ate it on the last day in Rome, it was so delicious~~ The sauce for the stewed oxtail was super delicious, and the fried sardines and beef were also very fragrant.

The dishes were all good, but the portions were too small, the staff were very courteous and friendly, but we spent around €22 per person for a course with a side dish and we left the table still hungry.
