I returned to Rome and I couldn't miss the "ai due ponti" restaurant after about 30 years.
The surprise did not confirm the memory.
The first course with asparagus was good, while the fried dark brown vegetables were almost not up to the quality and name of the restaurant.
The location is always beautiful

What can I say... a restaurant that is in our "top five" list of favorite restaurants, we know it well and we like to celebrate occasions and birthdays due to the location which is very refined and the very high quality of the food. Obviously 5 stars also for the service which is always at the top. It is a restaurant with medium-high prices but everything is in line with the quality.
Whatever we order never disappoints. I absolutely recommend.

Excellent dinner, the carbonara was very good but perhaps a little salty. Afterwards I got the lamb chops which were special.
Next time I will take the meat tartare, which is freshly prepared.

Given that I don't live in Rome, Roman customers initially introduced me to this place. After a few years I returned due to good memories: I must say that it has improved a lot, especially in the external parts. The quality of the dishes, in Roman tradition, is always of an excellent level. Highly recommended

A historic trattoria frequented by the cream of northern Rome.
Medium-high prices for quick, no-frills service. Right portions but quality not up to expectations.
(How can a rare fillet be well cooked on the outside, very red on the inside, not losing even a drop of red on the plate and be cold, even touching it with a finger, on one side?). Experimental cooking methods that, after 102 years of activity, you just don't expect.
If you expect them to offer you at least one amaro you are in the wrong place.
Markup on drinks in line with those who don't like free water in Rome.
75cl of water is 4 euros.
Very little if any choice for vegans, little for vegetarians.
