On our way from Trieste to Tuscany (a one-day return trip), we looked for a trattoria along the way, trusting the good reviews and delicious photos. We were thrilled!
We ordered a huge platter, which, besides being truly huge, was a feast of colors and flavors, accompanied by fried bread dough (in Tuscany we call them coccoli, in the Apennines crescentine, in Milan gnocco fritto; here it had a different name that I didn't remember).
Then we had fried vegetables, excellent. And a first course, excellent and elegant!
The place is casual and easygoing. The service is prompt and prompt.
The prices are fair.
In short, a discovery and a place to keep in mind for future occasions.

I've always been passing through, and today I finally had time to stop for dinner. I was craving seafood. What can I say? The fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked. The grilled vegetables, which deserve special praise, are still missing. Finally, peeled and cooked peppers, eggplant, and zucchini that are vegetarian-friendly. Money well spent. Very friendly staff.

Trattoria Ai Bagordi is one of those places that steals your heart. Spacious and welcoming, with plenty of seating, it's a favorite among workers, truck drivers, and foodies passing by. Despite the constant crowds and tight shifts, the wait is practically non-existent: the staff is a veritable war machine—all extremely kind, incredibly fast, always smiling, and incredibly attentive.
The menu changes daily, offering a surprising variety of first courses, second courses, and side dishes. All for just €15, including a drink, bread, and cover charge. An incredible deal for the quality and quantity you receive. The dishes are simple, homemade, and generous.
Plus, there's a refrigerated counter with premium cuts of meat, which you can choose and cook directly over the fireplace: a rustic and authentic experience that makes the meal even more special. And for pizza lovers, the wood-fired oven is always open, churning out excellent, fragrant, and well-seasoned pizzas that rival the best pizzerias in the area.
It's the kind of place you miss as soon as you leave. And yes, I will truly miss it, along with all the warm staff.
A final tip not to be missed: end your meal with a coffee with plum syrup. A small ritual that tastes of home and tradition.

This trattoria is known for the mass of vehicles parked in every possible space.
At the first opportunity, we stopped and had a seafood dinner. Everything was excellent, including the service. It's a shame we live 200 km away. We've added it to our very own restaurant list.

Dinner with my husband
I ate bigoli all'amatriciana and a cacio e pepe, I didn't take any photos.
But I did some fried food.
If you pass by Boara Pisani, stop for lunch or dinner👍👍👍

Spero sia stato un incidente di percorso. Con prenotazione in anticipo, per 11 persone, abbiamo dovuto attendere 50 minuti per ordinare!! Spiedini un pochino duro mentre il fritto di mare buono .
