Warm and characteristic environment; you eat inside an old house in the village. Menu strongly based on traditional dishes; good quality but not very good. Single appetizer largely composed of cooked dishes (a positive thing) while some of the preparations (in particular some "variations") did not convince us. Excessive markup on wines. Friendly but sloppy service.

Finally a restaurant that deserves to be called such. Everything was very good, from the starter, to the bites, to the turcineddhri and lamb, to the wine. The place is nice with a well-kept front garden. It feels like being at home, where you know you will eat well. Advise.

A lovely experience. Great local dishes, warm welcome by restaurant family in an evocative location. .My husband and I shared the vegetable antipasto which was delicious. I had read the negative review from someone that had ordered it for lunch today so I felt challenged to make my own opinion. The antipasto was delicious! Made from regional vegetables, delicately seasoned cold and hot both offered. We then enjoyed our meat dishes. mine the roasted sausage and my husband had the lamb. Throughout our meal, we had the opportunity to talk to the family members about local history. I highly recommend this lovely trattoria. We hope that we can return in the near future.

We went this evening, my partner and I.... For my birthday... Sublime dinner... Starter..first courses....second courses. ..wine What can I say.....WOW... We were at the TOP.... I can't find a fault... Staff..... Fantastic... Definitely worth returning.. A thousand thanks.... ACAJA RESTAURANT... For making my 52 years fantastic.... Thank you so much ❤️

Small cozy restaurant but not very welcoming at first glance. We had the “Maritati Con Mozzarella E Melanzane” which was super good. How good it is to eat well-cooked local products.

Wonderful dinner. Typical 'true' Salento cuisine. There were ten of us, we ordered different dishes, first and second. Everyone satisfied. Personally I recommend their Ciceri and Tria. Second course sausage.

02/11/2024: I'll let those who read my experience judge... Lunch time we find this place with a beautiful sea view... it's not a traditional restaurant, it's more of a 2.0 booth and you can feel it... Very hot internal temperature... Anyway, the waiter (Milanese) arrives and acts like a good friend... He presents the menu as if there were ONLY the catch of the day, our fish is very fresh, very good, beautiful bla bla bla... So we order 1 house starter (5 mussels with tomato + 5 mussels au gratin + 4 slices of swordfish + squid salad) and 1 sea bass to divide into 2 + 1 quarter of house rosé and 1 bottle of natural water.... No dessert No coffee... EURO 90.00 euros. You have places clearly come directly with the printed menu and I hope for them the prices displayed. (I'm chicken for not asking) I don't want to be too mean because the fish was good anyway (that's why I'm giving it at least 3 stars) but honestly I felt taken for the...!
