Passing through Salso for pleasure I stop at the restaurant: impeccable and very kind service. The truffle first courses are good but the best with dessert. Exquisite tiramisu!

Saturday evening at the end of September and dinner for two in this trattoria, just a few meters from the historic center of Salsomaggiore. Correct, fast and punctual service; typical, rich and varied menu; fairly poor cellar, but compensated by three local wines by the glass; very good value for money. Friendly, helpful and very kind hosts. The place is quite cold at first glance and has anonymous furnishings, compensated by the warmth of the owners.
We both ate green tortelli with porcini mushrooms first and, afterwards, egg with asparagus and truffle; drinking house sparkling white wine, we spent 52 euros... very honest.

Without praise and without infamy. Good food, nothing to complain about. Portion for 2 of fried gnocco with cured meats worth reviewing for the price paid. Good homemade pasta. Nice place for a quiet dinner.
