Super cute patio dining with lights in a little piazza. We happened on this place on a little stroll across the Ponte Vecchio. We had pasta with pear and the best filet of steak I have ever had in my life. It wasn’t bistec fiorentina but it was still suuuuuper rare, which I love!!! Melt in your mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. I will dream about for weeks! I will, without a doubt, return for that steak.

This is our favorite restaurant in Florence where we visit every year for 6 or 8 weeks. We have other favorites but 4 Leone never disappoints. Food is excellent and the house wine very good. We have been coming for over 25 years and there are now more tourists but the restaurant is gracious in dealing with them and us

The Fiocchetti di pera in salsa di taleggio e asparagi are the most spectacular thing I tasted in all of Italy, highly recommended, I loved the place and the food.

The purple greens in the warm salad were delicious, and the beef tenderloin was also great. Since the two of us couldn't eat T-bone steak, we were extremely satisfied to be able to try the beef tenderloin!

I went with a group of 6 for lunch with reservations, which I highly recommend because the wait was long for lunch and dinner. Get the pear pasta! It’s fantastic! We ate outside and even on a chilly day we felt fine because they have outside heaters. 10/10

We dined at 4Leoni twice during our five days in Firenze. Both times the waiters suggested alternatives to what we ordered and they were spot on! We happened to be staying around the corner, but I would make a special trip from across town for this place! Super easy to make reservation online. If you plan a few days in advance and you’ll have plenty of time options.

11/11/2025: The T-bone steak was delicious, too! The truffle pasta was also good. I ordered the T-bone steak well-done so I could share it with my child. The waiter at AMMAR also served tiramisu, which was delicious. We came here after the Korean Chuseok holiday, so there weren't many people, and we had a leisurely meal. There wasn't any particular discrimination or hospitality, but I didn't mind. We're making good memories. You can also get a 20% discount if you book through the fork app.

27/10/2025: A very characteristic restaurant in Sant'Ambrogio, serving traditional cuisine, excellent in its simplicity. What makes the difference is the warm welcome and the atmosphere created by the owner. Signora Gilda, elegant and refined, manages to put you at ease and make you feel at home even though you're far from home. A must-visit in Florence, I recommend it 100%. P.S. The tagliatelle are amazing.
