I had come here 10 years ago and it was one of the best meals I ate while being in Italy. This time it seems they pushed all the english speaking patrons to a back room of the restaurant so they could have a English speaking server serve all of us. Unfortunately this room lacked a lot of the charm of the larger rooms of the restaurant and felt like we were next to the restrooms (literally). The food was still very good, we just felt the room was lack luster, our server was very nice but the host seemed a tad pretentious. Would definitely try the Pear Pasta. That is the meal that brought me back.

We had two pasta dishes which were good, but nothing to rave home about. The service was very good and our waiter was very attentive.

Note right away: most of the time you will need a reservation ahead of time to eat at this restaurant. This restaurant was recommended to us by a local shop owner. The food is variable in quality, we had the daily special which was a pear ravioli dish and it was very good, we also had zucchini florets which were a little over salted, then there was the beef tartar with black truffle which was the least favorite of the night as the truffles were flavorless and the tartar lacked seasoning of any kind. Our waitress was okay, she wasn't outright rude but you could tell she was checked out for the day and didn't really want to be there. She was not very knowledgeable about the menu either which wasn't helpful considering the menu is in italian only. We had to use a translation app to read the menu.

Busy, loud, Italian, amazing foodie place! Had anchovy antipasto and melanzane parmigiana… literally drooled my way through dinner…. Don’t miss this place 💕

Rossella es el mejor! Acabamos de tener el almuerzo más fabuloso de toda Florencia. Empezamos por dentro pero pasamos a la mesa exterior, donde fluía el vino Albe Rose. El mejor restaurante de Florencia. Gracias por ser una gran anfitriona. El plus añadido es la mejor Geletería con colas consistentemente largas. Escucha la selección de menús de Rossella, no te decepcionará.

Senza infamia e senza gloria, Abbiamo mangiato i classici crostini toscani e un primo. Si,buono,nella media. Conto onesto e soprattutto il cameriere Alfonso gentilissimo!
