It was my second time at a trabocco, but here you'll find truly delightful revisited cuisine, like the baby cuttlefish stuffed with cacio e ova in a pepper sauce, and the amberjack fillet glazed with elderflower, with an almond mousse, peaches, and green beans (I swear I could have eaten ten plates of those). Kudos to the chef, who certainly gives his all in such a small kitchen, but a dinner (five courses, even though the menu is for six, dessert was purchased and put on the plate) lasting three hours becomes rather long. One disappointing note: the bocconotto, all alone on that plate—eaten like this, we could have bought it and eaten it anywhere—decidedly lacked character. We would certainly have appreciated a dessert made by them.

Gourmet fish dinner, and as a positive experience, I can't say otherwise. But analyzing what we ate and how much we spent, I don't think it was proportionate. At the cost of €85, a few appetizers, a first course, and an almost non-existent second course. I understand that gourmet portions are small, but a single bite of fish seemed excessive to me. And then also in the other dishes, the presence of fish had to be sought with great care. Overall, a good experience, but one I wouldn't repeat.

Siamo stati oggi giorno di Pasqua in questo locale meraviglioso. La location è evidentemente stupenda, direttamente sul mare e i colori lasciano senza parole…esattamente come tutti i piatti preparati con cura, amore, maestria e dedizione dallo chef. Strepitoso tutto dall’antipasto al dolce, una straordinaria fusione tra cucina della tradizione e innovazione culinaria. Nessun piatto scontato, tutto sorprendente, un tripudio di sapori inaspettati ma perfettamente armonizzati. Meritano una particolare menzione lo spaghetto con clorofilla di cicoria ed estratto di cicala di mare e il tonno con salsa di fragola!! Bravi, bravissimi e… ostinati 👏
