I'm one of those people who, if asked where to eat in the center of Treviso, always say, "Go out of town."
But since yesterday, I've been able to say, "Go to Alfredo."
A historic, beautiful place. Once you enter, you feel like you've been transported back decades... with class.
Then Nicola arrives and welcomes you in a familiar, friendly, polite, and respectful manner.
The menu is interesting, with both modern and classic dishes.
High-quality ingredients, well-cooked.
Exceptional desserts.

We had dinner at this stunning old restaurant, filled with art, charm, and timeless glamour. The atmosphere indoors was elegant and full of character — truly something special. I was worried because it looked high-end, but the waiter's younger brother lives in Japan and he could speak a little Japanese, so I was able to dine in a warm atmosphere. The pasta was plentiful and delicious.

Veneto cuisine: evidence that the Serenissima traded not only with the Levant but also with the further Orient: artichokes with pine nuts and raisins, anchovies on oranges with herbal ricotta cream, cuttlefish (very marine) with white polenta, calf's liver slightly spiced. Very friendly and efficient service. Good wine.
