A cool neighborhood place, Sicilian style, with a hustler at the door that attracts customers (you can have a good laugh) good food, make sure to order the menu, especially so they don't rip you off with the price and order a jug of wine that is better priced.

I don't know where you were, but I, from Catania on holiday in Catania, ate well. Very clean and fragrant bathrooms, perhaps the cleanest I found in Catania. The horse meat and the grilled sausage, delicious. Spartan service, it's true, with plastic tablecloths, but it's a trattoria, not Cannavacciolo. Menu available for consultation with truthful prices

Excellent quality meat, fairly fast service and friendly staff.
Except that the guy who shouts out as a decoy to lure customers is not at all truthful about the prices they are.
He says "Plate for 10 euros, and if you don't like the quality you don't pay anything", but then at the checkout it's not like that, they set the price they want based on who they have in front of them, whether they're from their fellow villager or not.
This is not very correct, but otherwise an excellent meal.
Very good horse meat, typical of the place!

It is a simple and popular trattoria, with tables also on the roadside. There's no point in expecting anything else. Considering this, according to the experience I had: quality of service and perfect meat. Simply delicious horse meat. Honest (menu) prices. Advise.
