Excellent first courses: calamarata with broccoli and clams, or mussels and friggitelli. The sea bass is delicious, as are the very fresh fried anchovies, and the flag fish stuffed with escalope, pine nuts, and raisins. Highly recommended for enjoying typical dishes of the Amalfi Coast. The real rating: 3.5. The octopus dish looked better than it tasted, something was missing to really say it was delicious. The lasagna was just ok. We received food menu only, then we requested for drinks menu too. Two different waiters took our order: the first one for food, the second for drinks. A little bit confusing.

Awesome food, priced competitively. Lasagna €16, Seafood Fantasy €25. The proprietor is respectful of tourists, not gouging price. Food is excellent quality, and street parking is plentiful. Just a 10 minute wait for food. Skip expensive, crazy Positano, and stop in Maiori, just one town over for a stress-free, relaxing meal, seaside. Recommendation: Great place.

One of my family’s favorite places in Maiori! Service is always wonderful. Food excellent! I recommend the mussel soup. They’re also very good at off-menu requests/changes. Probably the best squid I have ever had. You need to request, but SO good.

After checking some positive feedback in restaurants near by location, I was able to check this place! Tony's Food & Drinks serve delicious dishes. I choose the Octopus with potatoes. By my surprise, the potatoes were like in a gravy but believe me, it taste great to my linking.

Excellent food and service. Located on the waterfront. Wide variety of food options. All excellent in terms of quality and quantity. Excellent service. Available in several languages. Very friendly staff. Don't forget to try the octopus...excellent.

This place is magnificent! We were at the neighboring place the day before, and it was absolutely terrible, but this place was a complete delight!!! The food was delicious!!! The portions were huge! The service was amazing! Special thanks to the waitress, Yana! She was very welcoming and always smiling—that's how waiters should be! We highly recommend this place!

29/10/2025: An absolute delight. A very warm welcome from the owner, who passionately explained the dishes, and quick service. Refined and very flavorful cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A place not to be missed.
26/10/2025: In May, my wife and I spent a few wonderful days in Alghero, and we visited the "Ristorante di Pesce Il Pavone" twice – and for good reason: The family-run restaurant is just a few minutes from the city center, easily accessible either on foot from the harbor or directly by car with parking on site. Upon entry, we were warmly welcomed by the owner himself and given equally competent advice. What was particularly nice was that he later returned to each table to personally check on each guest's well-being – this hospitality and warm socializing are truly exceptional. His daughter also works in the business, which further underlines the authentic, family-like atmosphere. Their passion for what they do is palpable and permeates the entire experience. The service was always friendly, attentive, and courteous – we never had to wait long. The restaurant impresses with its cozy, clean, and tidy ambiance. The menu is clear and offers a high-quality selection without seeming overly opulent. We particularly enjoyed the grandmother's traditional dish, which has always been on the menu – a beautiful piece of culinary family history! The wine list is wonderfully matched to the fish dishes. We were delighted with every single dish: fresh antipasti, homemade pasta, market-fresh fish, and sophisticated desserts – all a true taste experience and definitely not frozen. Whether inside or outside – there is plenty of comfortable seating, perfect for couples and smaller groups. Reservations are recommended, especially in the evenings. The prices are high, but absolutely reasonable given the quality; the value for money is excellent. For us, "Il Pavone" was one of the highlights of our stay – a wonderful memory that we will certainly look back on fondly. Highly recommended – we will definitely be back!
