Tonnarello In Roma

I didn't like the lasagna, I expected more from it, but the carbonara, which my fiancée had and I stole a bite of, was wonderful!

The food and service was fantastic, particularly our server Sina. Despite the lines we were seated promptly. He was attentive and nice, and spoke very good English. The Carciofi alla Giudia was to die for, I could have eaten that alone for dinner.

Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, Soft heart chocolate cake and Chocolate salami, TOP. The artichoke alla giudia deserves a 7. Overall, the quality/price ratio is much more than good. A restaurant where I will definitely return.

Great atmosphere in the heart of Trastevere. Highly recommended for the price, and Ronaldo is a cracker at the terrace service! A top choice in a must-visit neighborhood in Rome.

The quality of the food is TOP-NOTCH, but I honestly expected that extra leap in quality from Italian food in Italy itself at such a highly rated restaurant. The food is still good and the prices are reasonable. However, it's the drinks where they've really taken things up a notch. I think this cuisine, for someone who doesn't consume olive oil on a daily basis, is a delight for the palate, but for those who do, I can't find any difference with an Italian restaurant run by Italians in my city. You have to wait in line, you can't make reservations, but, as they themselves indicate, if you don't go during rush hour, you'll get in quickly. Finally, the menu tells you about a 5% tip, but the tip is included in the bill without asking 🙄

Qui siamo nel cuore di trastevere, non può mancare la cucina tipica romana, si può gustare tutti i piatti della tradizione, ampio spazio anche all'aperto, ben organizzato con ambienti protetti e riscaldati . Qualità prezzo buono. Lo consiglio.

My boyfriend and I visited Tonnarello for our last dinner in Rome and it did not disappoint! We had the carbonara and tomato pasta with meatballs - both entirely fresh and homemade - with the house red wine. Don’t be put off by the long queue as their huge capacity means you’re seated very quickly. Overall, I highly recommend!
