We landed at Tischi Toschi after trying to get a seat at other restaurants without success. They were able to accommodate us right away, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very charming. We enjoyed that it was a bit tucked away from the busy areas. Our server was very attentive! As for food - the fennel balls were incredibly delicious and unique, but the mains were a bit smaller than we were hoping for the price point. The food still tasted great though!

A lovely restaurant on a small street in the center of Taormina, with excellent service and delicious food. This was our first time trying the caponata with cocoa, and I highly recommend it.

A typical trattoria in a village that's become too touristy, which is why negative reviews should be trusted more than positive ones, which accurately reflect the tastes of foreign tourists vacationing in Italy.
As for the food, with a few adjustments and improvements, it would remain mediocre.
Prices are lacking in any real sense, like the "3 gamberi" (three shrimp) offered by Gambero Rosso.

Pasta alla Norma. Borderline legal... never tasted so good. Incredible sauce. Thank you, chef, for this fabulous pasta. The parmigiana was also perfect. Top, top, top. Highly recommended and super local.

Let me preface this: we're in Taormina, so you can't expect anything cheap.
But nothing outrageous, and above all, the prices are clearly displayed on the menu—no surprises.
The welcome and staff were top marks, the cuisine simple and characteristic. The only downside was the pasta, which was decidedly overcooked. To be fair, they offered to replace it, but I turned a blind eye; the gesture was enough.
Otherwise, it was a lovely day in a quiet place.

I met Luca, the owner, this evening. He's a pleasant and very helpful person.
We ate wonderfully, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. This isn't common in touristy places.
The prices are in line with the quality offered.
We'll be back.

Die Küche des Restaurants haben wir als einfach, aber durchaus sehr gut erlebt. Ursprüngliche regionale bodenständige Gerichte findet man hier und diese sind durchaus gut! Der Service hat uns weniger überzeugt, lange Wartezeiten und wiederholtes Nachfragen nach bereits Bestelltem war leider mehrmals nötig.
