📍 Posizione suggestiva, ma esperienza deludente Il ristorante si trova in una location davvero suggestiva, nel cuore del centro storico di Mantova. L'atmosfera è senza dubbio piacevole e curata, ma purtroppo l’esperienza complessiva non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative, soprattutto considerando i prezzi elevati. Le porzioni servite erano davvero ridotte, più simili a un assaggio che a un vero piatto. A fronte di un conto piuttosto salato, ci saremmo aspettati una maggiore generosità e qualità. La nota più spiacevole è arrivata alla fine: al momento del conto ci siamo accorti che erano stati aggiunti due caffè e due bottiglie d’acqua in più rispetto a quanto effettivamente ordinato. Un errore che, in un locale di questo livello, non dovrebbe accadere — e che dà l’impressione di una certa disattenzione, se non altro. In conclusione, bella location ma rapporto qualità-prezzo decisamente deludente personale gentile e preparato. Non credo torneremo

An insider tip! Everything was absolutely perfect: a cozy atmosphere, very friendly service, and excellent food, as well as the wine, and all at a reasonable price! We received free soup and small desserts; you can't go wrong here; it's wonderful in every way!

After decades of eating all around Italy, the last four days of eating in Mantua have revealed to me the essential distinctions of Mantuan food with the tastes of other Italian provinces. By chance, a few steps off the main thoroughfare street of Via Broletto along Via Leon D'oro, we discovered our first fish restaurant, not many within the city centre. After eaten in the first restaurant, it is with the aid of Google Map we located this second seafood restaurant Tiratappi, a short distance further along the same Via Leon D'oro. It turn out, this place serves relatively better honest food and much friendlier and warmer service. I congratulated myself for this discovery of this restaurant. I got to experience the uniqueness of known warm and friendly Italian hospitality in small homely restaurant, the warmth of family support service, friendly, casual yet adequately satisfying albeit not commercially overly refined but with equitable pricing. Cooking is indeed innovatively unique and concorted with fresh and ingenuous ingredients. A certain hidden gem.

I went there for lunch and had a good first course. Really welcoming and punctual service.

In the historic centre, with an auditorium in the lounge in Piazza Leon Alberti, a clean and carefully furnished restaurant, welcoming and kind staff, Mantuan and Sicilian dishes. The caponata and bigoli with Sicilian sardines are excellent, as are the various traditional Mantuan and Sicilian desserts. Prices normal. Advised

Fantastic experience! We had a great meal at this cozy restaurant for lunch. The pumpkin tortellini was simply delicious: fresh pasta, tasty filling and perfect flavor combination. The waiters were very kind and attentive to service, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back!"

¡Qué regalo es Tira Tappi para Mantua! Fabuloso menú en un espacio precioso con un servicio excelente! Este fue el mejor almuerzo que tuvimos aquí en los últimos 4 días. Muy lejos, felizmente, de la comida tradicional servida en la mayoría de los otros restaurantes. Lamentamos no haber encontrado esta joya antes de partir mañana. El flan de calabaza con ricota, gorgonzola y nueces era perfecto, al igual que la impresionante ensalada de pulpo. El postre de budini no era demasiado dulce y gloriosamente ligero y suave. Se agradeció la atención a la intolerancia al gluten. En general, un almuerzo espectacular!
