Tiratappi In Mantova

I can't be biased because this place has become a must-visit whenever I'm in Mantua. Everything is wonderful: the interior and exterior, the service, the food, the quality.

Highly recommended restaurant, offering traditional Sicilian dishes (because the chef is Sicilian) expertly paired with wines from eastern Lombardy. Very reasonable prices: appetizer, first course, two glasses of wine, water, and coffee + cover charge are €65 (and you're in one of Mantua's most beautiful squares). See you next time, without a doubt! PS: For those with sensitive stomachs, everything is easily digestible, a sign of excellent workmanship and top-quality ingredients.

The restaurant is located in one of Mantua's most beautiful squares. We dined outside, where the view is truly stunning. The dishes were well-cooked, but the portions were truly too gourmet (meager), especially for the price (with larger portions, I would have given it 5 stars). The gin service was appreciated.

We ate really well, the outside place was very nice.

Since it was summer, we dined outside in the beautiful setting of Piazza L.B. Alberti, right behind the Basilica of Sant'Andrea. We spent a lovely evening in good company; the staff was friendly and helpful. I think the prices are appropriate for the location and the fact that everything in the city is a bit more expensive. We ate well, I would return and recommend it.

📍 Posizione suggestiva, ma esperienza deludente Il ristorante si trova in una location davvero suggestiva, nel cuore del centro storico di Mantova. L'atmosfera è senza dubbio piacevole e curata, ma purtroppo l’esperienza complessiva non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative, soprattutto considerando i prezzi elevati. Le porzioni servite erano davvero ridotte, più simili a un assaggio che a un vero piatto. A fronte di un conto piuttosto salato, ci saremmo aspettati una maggiore generosità e qualità. La nota più spiacevole è arrivata alla fine: al momento del conto ci siamo accorti che erano stati aggiunti due caffè e due bottiglie d’acqua in più rispetto a quanto effettivamente ordinato. Un errore che, in un locale di questo livello, non dovrebbe accadere — e che dà l’impressione di una certa disattenzione, se non altro. In conclusione, bella location ma rapporto qualità-prezzo decisamente deludente personale gentile e preparato. Non credo torneremo

¡Qué regalo es Tira Tappi para Mantua! Fabuloso menú en un espacio precioso con un servicio excelente! Este fue el mejor almuerzo que tuvimos aquí en los últimos 4 días. Muy lejos, felizmente, de la comida tradicional servida en la mayoría de los otros restaurantes. Lamentamos no haber encontrado esta joya antes de partir mañana. El flan de calabaza con ricota, gorgonzola y nueces era perfecto, al igual que la impresionante ensalada de pulpo. El postre de budini no era demasiado dulce y gloriosamente ligero y suave. Se agradeció la atención a la intolerancia al gluten. En general, un almuerzo espectacular!
