Tinchitè Taverna & Putia In Cefalù

We were there in December as a couple; the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. No waiting or queuing. The service was a bit slow. Nevertheless, highly recommended. We'd come back anytime.

Great food! I had fortunate pleasure of staying next door so got to try different dishes. As a group ordered the tapas but seafood and meat version. Some of the seafood could go without. Had the local specialty pasta a taianu which was worthwhile to try. Wholesome dish. Came back for the pistachio cream ravioli. I love cream but this was on the rich side for me. Can still be good for some. Great nutty flavor in the sauce tho. Luckily I stayed next door so didn’t have to wait in line too much as had the comfort of own place. But during popular dinner hours of 630-7pm this gets a long line. And I went in October. Not sure what line would be like during peak summer

We had delicious lampuga and pasta with bottarga. The price for the quality was excellent. (The dishes, wine, beer, and coffee for two people cost just over 50 euros).

We ate a grilled eggplant parmigiana, green salad, a liter of wine and water, well spent, with great courtesy and professionalism. We went back now in December and, as always, we ate very well!

A place where you can appreciate the ancient Sicilian flavours

I had been there years ago, the cuisine is still the same as it once was, good, meat appetizer, with several courses and a first course of pasta with Tajanu... good, not exceptional.

The food was adequate for a rustic trattoria. I've had much better. I expected much more. The prices, for a trattoria, were simply mind-blowing. Everything was incredibly expensive. I repeat, trattoria. Never again, and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone.

Spurred on by some reviews, we went in and immediately found courtesy and, most importantly, a table, the place was packed. We ordered three fairly generous starters, drinks, and half a pineapple—all excellent! Bill €60. Recommended.

Perhaps it's because it's November, so the chaos of the previous months has passed, but today's experience at "Tinchite" was excellent! There was no wait. The place filled up, and some people were waiting outside. However, considering the service was fast but relaxed (not like those restaurants where waiters rush around like crazy and make you anxious 😅), I think the customers outside didn't wait long; but that's just a guess, so I'll go back to my review. The staff was very kind, friendly, yet professional. Clean place, excellent food, and good quality! Prices were reasonable (I didn't take photos of anything because I either eat or take photos; I hate taking photos of food 😂). I gave the atmosphere 4 stars only because the interior is very dark. It's nice to create a soft, subdued atmosphere, but there are areas where the shadows dominate, but nothing major, just a slight nitpick. We'll definitely be back. 🙂
