Great crust! Great quality and selection of toppings! Quick walk from Trieste train station made a superb start to our visit. A little crowded but the staff was friendly and efficient. Grazie!

Cafe Continentale

02/06/2026: Trieste is a city full of great places to eat, but places where everything works together—food quality, presentation, service, and atmosphere—are rare. Caffè Continentale is one of those few. A truly excellent dinner.
28/03/2026: On an almost wintery day I enjoyed a hot chocolate (though given the style of the place I would have preferred it in a cup...😉) in this beautiful Viennese café, in Art Nouveau style, which is definitely worth a stop.

02/06/2026: So delicious!! We tried the international-style breakfast, both sweet and savory, and found it truly excellent!! The restaurant has a thoughtful design and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, plus the staff was very friendly and professional. A well-deserved five stars. We'll definitely be back!
