I've been to this restaurant twice with friends, which reflects Chinese traditions. The fact that it's frequented by Chinese customers gave me a sense of authenticity. Not the usual pancakes or spring rolls, but a unique, hands-on experience. The place is elegant. The tables are large, round or square. In the center of the table is a round pot (hotpot) in which raw ingredients are cooked in a broth of your choice—spicy, vegetable, meat, tomato, etc. You can choose one broth or two with a divider. The service is good. Orders are placed using a tablet. Good prices.

A fantastic evening at TIAN CI CHONG QING FARM HOTPOT on Via Barberini, in the heart of Rome. Easy to get to on the A metro line (Barberini stop), it's perfect for dinner after a stroll around the Trevi Fountain and Via Veneto, or for spending an evening with friends or your significant other. The spacious and tidy dining room features well-spaced tables. The atmosphere is convivial and invites you to linger for a long time and enjoy a pleasant evening.
The star of the show is the hotpot in the center of the table: choose one or two broths and cook meat, vegetables, tofu, and seafood in just a few minutes, adjusting the flavor with the sauce bar. It's a truly fun experience that works well for couples and groups: you can chat and share excellent food.
Fresh, thinly sliced ingredients for quick cooking; good spicy Chongqing-style options and milder options for those who prefer mellow flavors. Attentive, professional, and precise service: the staff explains cooking times and pairings, so even those who have never tried this cuisine can feel at ease from the start. Hotpot lovers, this is your place in Rome!
Practical tips
- Book, especially on weekends.
- With the double basin, a bit of spiciness can "bleed" to the other side: consider the size of your group.
- Dress in layers: the steam from the hotpot warms the atmosphere at the central tables.
- Choose thin cuts for quick cooking; dip them in gradually to avoid cooling the broth.
Useful information:
- Address: Via Barberini 53/55/57, Rome (Barberini/Sallustiano area).
- How to get there: Metro A, Barberini stop; a few minutes' walk from the Trevi Fountain.
- Typical hours: lunch and dinner, closing around 11:00–11:30 PM; reservations recommended.
Hotpot lovers, don’t miss it when in Rome.
非常推荐:味道正宗,环境舒适,在罗马一定要来试试 (Highly recommended: authentic taste and pleasant environment!)

The hot pot broth and Chongqing noodles were pretty good, but the hot pot ingredients were a bit pricey and portion sizes were small. The ingredients weren’t very fresh, but having hot pot at all was still nice.
Convenience location but there are still rooms to improve. I would give this place a 3.5 to be exact.

The food was delicious and fresh, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant atmosphere was like an authentic Chinese hot pot restaurant. Aunt Liu was very welcoming! We ordered too much, so I packed the rest to take home and made a delicious bowl of noodles the next day! Thank you so much! I'll come here every time I'm in Rome! My Chinese boyfriend also said it was quite good! We were both very happy ❤️

I am generally suspicious of restaurants in city centers, as I think that due to the ambiance and attraction of these restaurants, they only maintain a minimal level of quality, knowing that the customer won't visit more than once. However, this is not the case in Rome, and even in the heart of the city, restaurants always maintain very high quality. This restaurant is also like that. It is one of the best. The atmosphere is excellent, the prices are good, the food is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and the staff are polite. Everything is superb. After dinner, you can take a stroll to the amazing streets nearby. From here to the Spanish Steps, you have about a twenty-minute walk.

When you're tired of hot pot pizza pasta, try this. The red soup is very spicy. There are a lot of Chinese people.
My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant! It has a wide selection of traditional Chinese dishes to dip and cook in various broths, as well as a menu page dedicated to ready-made dishes.
A wide selection of ingredients for your own DIY sauce.
The atmosphere and service are very welcoming, and the prices are reasonable.
The only downside is the lack of ventilation, which means your clothes have to be washed after leaving the restaurant.

Cibo buono, servizio buono. Ma se ci fosse stato la possibilità di poter avere hot pot piccolo per ciascuno commensali sarebbe stato fantastico.
