The Phonogram Club In Ugento

I'll start by saying that thanks to this place I discovered the historic center of Ugento which is truly delicious. The restaurant with its tables overlooks a beautiful square in the historic centre. A nice, very coherent concept, the interiors are very well looked after and there are many curiosities to observe. Very well done, congratulations! I think it's a nice meeting point. I believe that its main vocation is more than a place for drinking in company. The drinks are excellent, a good selection of gins and beers. As for the food there is a wide assortment of hot dogs and burgers with artisanal buns with bright names and colours. According to my taste, however, the cooked dishes are a bit messy. It's probably not their specialty. Starting from the fact that in the menu all the items (starters, first and second courses) are grouped under the heading "cuisine". In any case, although the cuisine is good, it is not at the same level as the rest of the offer. In any case, if you are in the Ugento area it is absolutely worth stopping for an aperitif or dinner in this place.

Beautiful place in a splendid square, good food especially the various types of meatballs that we had as an appetizer, the only flaw was the service: they are all very kind but a little too slow... we waited a long time before having the table despite we had a little girl.

If I had to make a ranking of the most beautiful places ever seen in 56 years of life, 35 of which in catering, I would say it would be one of the first. I would venture the term "complete". Welcome with kindness and smile, competence and empathy when ordering, enchanting location in a historic center that catapulted me back to my childhood... music for connoisseurs and a counter stocked with the best labels. Top quality raw material. The perfect evening. I'll be back in the next few days with another character from the industry and I'm sure it will be another success!

Calamari friti as a starter and the grilled squid are absolutely recommended!!!
