Walked 3km round Pompeii for a place that sold decent beer and felt like a bar - this is it. Friendly staff and a good range of ales. We came for the beer so no food score but I bet anyone who takes the care to look after their IPA will give you some decent grub. After a long dy being a gringo tourist Americano is what you need <3

We went to this pub on a Saturday evening; the wait was twenty minutes and we sat down. During the appetizer we were asked to move to a lower table as ours (already occupied and being consumed) was needed for a group of more people. Nothing to say about the food and the staff.. but it was slightly annoying having to move and carry all the things to the new table. Among other things, it was even colder in the new assigned place. I don't think it's professional to ask people while they're eating to move from their table. For the rest nothing to say. (we also left a tip despite the poor service and no regard for the inconvenience)

The meat and the filling of the sandwiches are good. Specifically, the bread used was too sweet. Gluten-free bread used for sandwiches is much better

Truly impeccable sandwiches and fried foods. The pulled pork is sublime!! I think it is one of the few pubs in Pompeii to have an excellent quality/price ratio. The place is really nice and welcoming, as are the staff. Even though we hadn't booked, we had to wait 10 minutes as the cashier told us, and they let us sit. The waiting times for the kitchen are really fast even if the pub is full. I recommend it to everyone, we are from the area and every time we want a good pub in Pompeii we come to Mericano. Highly recommended!!! 5 super deserved stars!

A sublime culinary experience. The super friendly and qualified staff. The owner Alessandra is very kind and ready to satisfy our requests, the chef Andrea Lo Rosso is very good at preparing meat and sandwiches. I highly recommend it to everyone!

We go to this pub at least once a month. It is absolutely one of our favourites. The sandwiches are fantastic. The delicious dishes and the spectacular delicacies. For us, crunchy chicken is the best! The environment is nice and the staff are courteous. If you are around Pompeii try it!! TOP

We went because the place appears really welcoming at first glance and the reviews are excellent. All confirmed. A nice dinner with friends, the meat was excellent, we tried the steak, the lentrecote and the bone-in steak. For the kids, excellent hamburgers and fried chicken. Lots of choice of beers. Tennets plug 👍. Prices in the right quality/price ratio. Only music and volume need to be paid a little more attention. ... with the Bose system the volume must be higher 😊 We'll be back. 👌

Bistrò La Paveanata

03/01/2025: Here is an example of a review for a bistro: "A little gem in the heart of the city!" I had the pleasure of dining in this bistro and was struck by the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. The staff is kind and attentive, always ready to recommend the dishes of the day and wine pairings. The menu, while compact, is a celebration of authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. I tried the fish fillet on Jerusalem artichoke cream: a refined and well-balanced combination. The desserts are also a strong point, in particular the revisited tiramisu, a true masterpiece. The prices are in line with the high quality of the experience, and I will certainly return to try other dishes. Highly recommended for both a romantic dinner and an informal lunch! If you wish, I can customize it based on a specific bistro or aspect to highlight!
03/01/2025: Excellent food, you can see that everything is freshly prepared, excellent service with specialized staff (angelo can really advise you on what is best for your palate), wonderful environment, it almost feels like you are not in Italy (I would only opt for the removal of the Che Guevara painting)
