20/05/2024: We are in Sicily frequently and we have dined at all sorts of places all over the island, but this was one of our all'time favorite meals. It is a tiny restaurant with cute quirky decor run by a couple that does everything themselves. All fresh ingredients, mostly vegetable and cheese based dishes, whole wheat pasta made from very traditional Sicilian grains. The sweets were also wonderful, including some thigns that I had not ever seen before. The kitchen and dining room are all in the same room so you can see them at work preparing everything. The food was delicious and the casual atmosphere delightful. It was a slow Sunday night and we had a chance to chat with the couple that does this a bit and they were charming. It's not for everyone, but for those that like excellent pasta, quality ingredients, and traditional foods, this is the place to go.
