The Man and The Sea In Bologna

The fish was very fresh, delicate and truly special.... the owner was very kind and helpful... the desserts were not up to par... but we went for the fish....

Impeccable quality, fresh fish served with elegance and at reasonable prices despite the quality. Kudos also to the owner, who served my wife and I excellently. I'll be back soon.

The food was delicious, had the fantasy tartare, Egg tagliolini with lobster and shellfish ( which was amazing and very good value for the quality of the lobster) and shared The sea and its treasures (Chefs special) which was also really tasty and fresh. Only downside was we asked to sit outside and were told that we had not requested it when booking online. I explained that they don't offer the option to choose and she said the last remaining table was reserved . We sat inside and stayed until the end and nobody came for the table. The waitress inside said it was not reserved but it was a table for four and we were only two so they kept it on the off chance four people turned up and wanted to sit inside. I would not have minded but the other four seater tables were also occupied by only couples so was a small issue but a let down by the staff. The inside waiting staff were spot on and the food was beautiful, so would come again but would hope i get a table where i wanted especially if not reserved.

I'm giving it a 5-star rating on all three counts because they deserve it. Top-notch ingredients, attentive and professional service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Congratulations!

In general, I don't like shopping malls, including this one.

A mix between a seafood restaurant and a 3.0 Chinese restaurant... elegant and with very professional waiters. The price is high, but the desire to stand out by striving for quality is justified.
