THE HIMALAYA (Namaste Nepal) In Milano

I went to Himalaya for dinner last night with my boyfriend and this morning I'm still thinking about how good the food was! How wonderful! Perfect, hot dishes, delicious sauces! Not heavy at all! I love it! We will definitely be back! (Ah the really kind staff😍) very good! 😍

A solid option in Milano when looking for Nepalese / Indian food. Pros - Huge menu with some of the best Nepalese / North Indian dishes - Nice selection of breads - Food was nicely seasoned but very mild. It was definitely toned down but still tasty Cons - Very small portions. Specially the rice, for €4 I was expecting a little more than barely one cup - Food is quite pricey for the portion sizes - Ambience is okay, I was unfortunately seated by what seemed to be a drafty door/curtain situation and the tables are really close together, but they did a good job with masking with nice table cloths and decor.

Last Saturday we went out for dinner and decided to choose something different from the usual pizzeria or restaurant. My wife likes Indian and ethnic cuisine in particular, so I chose the first name that appeared in the search. It was also close to home and given the foggy evening I didn't linger any longer. It was a nice surprise!!! Welcoming environment, soft but not too much lighting, pleasant furnishings and that feeling of harmony that these places should convey. We were welcomed with extreme kindness and guided in the choice of dishes (it was the first time for us) with wisdom. Delicious food, plentiful, well presented. Very clean place as well as the services... 10 and praise. Not to be overlooked detail: really comfortable chairs. Fair price. At the end I recommend a small glass of cardamom liqueur. We will definitely be back.
