Best gelato I've had since moving to Rome. The Via Tuscolana location is also the best of the various locations in terms of size and flavor availability, even for me, who am lactose intolerant. Finally, it may seem trivial, but it isn't; the vegan flavors are truly delicious, considering that at another gelato shop in the area I had a vegan gelato due to my intolerance, and after half an hour I felt terrible because, clearly, it wasn't vegan.

The texture was smooth, velvety, perfectly balanced, and you could immediately taste the highest-quality ingredients. Even though I only tried these three flavors, the others were truly inviting. I wanted to try them all—each one looked better than the last—but I had to resist to stay in shape! The staff was fantastic: friendly, multilingual, and very helpful. They made the experience even more enjoyable, offering advice with a smile and making every customer feel welcome. If you're in Rome, you can't miss The Gelatist on Via Fusco Lana. It's more than just a delicious stop—it's an experience worth the trip in itself. I still think about that gelato, and I already know I'll be back as soon as I can.

Delicious gelato. I went to this gelato shop with friends and had the best gelato I've ever had. I had the Piedmont hazelnut flavors, which were full of hazelnuts. The pistachio flavor was excellent, with whole pistachios and not too sweet. The artisanal cream was something I hadn't had since I was a child. 5 stars, well deserved!
