07/11/2025: After the café across the street, we stopped here to sample some sweets. As soon as we entered, our anticipation was heightened: an inviting aroma of pastries and butter filled the place, and behind the counter we could see the pastry chef hard at work in the open kitchen—a definite plus that gives a lovely sense of craftsmanship.
We ordered six sweets, a cookie, and six chocolate orange peels for a total of €18.50—perhaps a bit pricey for the overall quality.
Among the sweets, two were chocolate baskets filled with salted caramel cream, very sweet and a bit artificial in flavor; another with pistachio cream was reminiscent of the ready-made ones from the supermarket. The fruit tart, on the other hand, was good, with fresh, colorful fruit, while the whole wheat cookie would have been better with a little more butter. The pistachio cream in the cream puff also left something to be desired.
Overall, a so-so experience: nothing truly bad, but nothing that would make you want to return. It's a place you can stop for a dessert if you're already in the area, perhaps after a coffee, but it's not a destination you should seek out. Next time, if I really have to, I'd have one just to satisfy my cravings.
04/11/2025: Unfortunately, it's 8 km away and there's heavy traffic in central Milan...if it weren't for this, Grecchi's pastry shop would be a daily destination for me due to the excellent products...my compliments.
