This museum seemed to be designed to exploit Ferrari fans.
I am not a Ferrari or a big F1 fan, but as a motor sport enthusiast I had to go to the Ferrari Museum due to the brand's amazing history.
The entry cost was 27€ at the time, way overpriced for the dimension and value of the exhibit.
The first part was mostly about modern(ish) Ferrari models and it was not particularly interesting due to the little historic value and the fact that many of these cars are easily seen in smaller car collections that many people probably have already seen in their country of origin.
The one-off models were not interesting as well.
The room with the F1 cars was certainly the most interesting due to their one-off nature and the engines being on display.
The second part was more about historic Ferrari models and it was great, but very short.
Then Ferrari had overpriced simulators (nothing crazy, just running the F1 game) at the end followed by their overpriced store.

The museum is very well done. The exhibition lacks a bit of structure: new vehicles, old vehicles, then new ones again, then racing. I've seen much better. Many relevant historical details are omitted.

We came from Florence and took the train to Bologna then to Modena, and finally a bus to Maranello. You can book Trenitalia tickets for transportation to the museum in Maranello for around 10 euros each way, and this also grants you a 50% discount (Only 16 Euros per person) for the ticket into the museum. There are 2 schedules, one at around 9 am and another around 2pm. No need to buy tickets beforehand to avail of the discount. The line for buying the ticket on-site was short because everyone thought of buying earlier. It was a nice collection of Ferrari cars, with information about the history of the company and the team in motorsport. I particularly liked the room with the F1 cars through the years, as well as the trophies with the drivers who won championships with the team. You could easily go through the museum for an hour or an hour and a half if you really take the time. You can also try driving in the simulator for an extra 30 Euros, which you do not have to reserve in advance. The museum shop has limited items and not much for women fans of the team, which is disappointing. You can take the shuttle back to the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena and take another train back to Bologna when you're done. This would save you some time, rather than waiting for the 2pm bus schedule to return.
Overall, it was a great experience to be in Maranello, it would've been nice to see more about how they develop cars for F1, but it was a great experience nonetheless.

What can I say, if you love Ferraris, if you love racing, if you love a piece of Italian history, go there because it's worth it!
