Different experience from the others. The place, although two floors, is very small and really resembles an old-fashioned English tea room: everything is set up with antique furniture, cups, saucers and teapots of all textures and types.
As for the food, everything was normal: lots of choice between cakes, desserts and above all teas and infusions, at fair prices. But nothing that screams miracle.
Booking several days in advance is strongly recommended.

I was there on a Sunday afternoon in December, just before Christmas. Meanwhile it doesn't feel like being in Pigneto, but not even in Italy. We could already feel the Christmas atmosphere: a warm and welcoming environment, very kind and helpful staff. I immersed myself in a Victorian and fairy-tale atmosphere, halfway between Alice in Wonderland and Lady and the Tramp (the music in particular reminded me of this). Many varieties of leaf tea, all excellent. I opted for the violet one and a vegan strudel.

The British Corner is a very traditional English-style tea room, with classic cups and mugs of all kinds. The porcelain is beautiful, the decorations are spectacular, you will find everything: special teapots, doilies, antiques, classic decorations, and even a hardback of Queen Elizabeth! In short, you will be immersed in the British world, just as the English understand their "tea" break, that is, a very pleasant and sweet break!
You can also find hot chocolate, mine was very good: except for the cream, I think it was the spray one, I was expecting a nice whipped and creamy cream... but no 👎
The accompanying Lemon cake was super delicate and crumbly, I liked it. Finally, I also tasted two types of tea, they were good, the honey helped make them more 'tasty'. In my opinion, this place is much more beautiful than good, I should go back to try more! 😉

Vivamente consigliato prenotare.
