We booked dinner for three through The Fork and had a truly positive experience: impeccable service, excellent food, and generous portions. Thanks to The Fork's promotion, we also saved 50%. We were very satisfied and recommend this restaurant for a welcoming and delicious dinner in Bologna!

We went here for lunch and enjoyed excellent food prepared with passion. The staff was very friendly. I recommend the crescentine with cured meats and the "balanzoni," excellent tortelli filled with ricotta and mortadella. The braised beef in Sangiovese sauce was also good.

Blessed with a sunny, almost spring-like Saturday in late October, we stopped for dinner here, having booked through The Fork. What a wonderful surprise! Impeccable service, generous, excellent dishes: fantastic value! We'll definitely be back!

23/11/2025: We had an excellent experience at Il Grottino in Bologna. The pizza, lasagne, and every dish we tried were absolutely fantastic — you can really taste the homemade, authentic Italian touch in everything they serve. The service was quick and surprisingly intuitive; even without speaking the same language, there was a genuine sense of understanding and warmth that made us feel truly welcome. From the outside it might not look particularly fancy, but don’t let that fool you. The atmosphere inside is cozy, authentic, and inviting — and the quality of the food speaks for itself. Feeling welcomed and enjoying real, handmade Italian dishes counts for so much, and Il Grottino delivers beautifully. Highly recommended!
