Terrible experience, not because of the food but because of the service. I booked through TheFork for this evening, July 22nd, at 8:15 PM for three people with a 50% discount. Only two of us went, and they changed my reservation. I only found out about this later, and I no longer had the 50% discount, but only the 20%. This is called a scam in my opinion.

Pleasant little restaurant. Fast service and reasonable prices. Good products served generously.

The tagliatelle were really good. The cotoletta alla bolognese was also good. They were very good at applying the discounts agreed upon at the register.

Had been recommended other restaurants on this street by our guide but we liked the welcoming look of this one and are very thankful we tried! Felt like a real family business with very friendly and kind staff. We had appetiser and they offered to bring the child’s meal out at same time, perfection. Food was so fresh, flavoursome and traditional. Very much enjoyed. Wine list showed bottle prices but were able to buy by the glass.

The tortellini in brodo are something special: small treasure chests of flavor, tasty but delicate, with a clear and fragrant broth that immediately takes you back to family lunches, the real ones, on Sundays. The guinea fowl leg was a revelation: cooked impeccably, soft, juicy, with a crispy and tasty skin that leaves its mark. And then the tortellini “goccia d’oro”, a dish that seems to have come out of a recipe book of other times: refined, intense, simply unforgettable. The service is attentive and kind, never intrusive, and contributes to making the experience even more pleasant. La Sberla bistrot is the perfect place for those who want to rediscover the authentic flavors of Emilia, far from the clichés. A must-see for those who love real cuisine.

I went on the guide's recommendation and honestly, I was pretty much fine. I feel the quantity is small, but all things considered, it's good, but I wasn't satisfied with the place overall. The place is nice and has tables to sit outside. The service is polite; it's like it has everything and nothing at the same time. I still can't give it a bad rating, but I feel like they're wasting potential because the location is also quite good.
