Delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Reservations are required because the place is very small.

A very pleasant place on Via Giambellino, just steps from the intersection of Via Giambellino and Via Tolstoy, right next to the Tostoy Pharmacy. Reservations were made by phone. It was crowded, but not noisy. I tried the Pad Thai with shrimp, a dish of rice noodles with shrimp, eggs, and various other well-combined ingredients. Season to taste with chili pepper, soy sauce, and crushed peanuts. For a side, I tried the delicious Salad No. 11: with thinly sliced ​​papaya and cherry tomatoes, carrots, and tegolini, dressed with a refreshing and delicious tamarind juice, lime, and other ingredients. While waiting for the main course, we found delicious clouds of shrimp, which we immediately asked for seconds. Next came dessert: Thai coconut milk pudding, with pandan leaves, a Thai plant, and colorful dragon fruit, a type of kiwi with a very delicate flavor. The waiters were attentive and friendly. Parking is limited in the area, but we were very lucky and found a free one right next to the entrance.

Thai Chokdee was truly a discovery! Intrigued by the 20% discount I booked with THEFORK, I came to this restaurant for lunch, and it exceeded my expectations. Small but well-kept, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and the owner is very approachable and available to recommend the daily specials or chat after lunch. The two of us ordered two appetizers, two main courses (one of which was a special of the day), and a water, all for about €20 each! The price was absolutely fair for the quantity and quality of the products offered. The menu is extensive and offers options for all tastes, including vegetarians and vegans. I will definitely be back to explore other traditional Thai dishes.
