For aperetivo and snacks...friendly staff, lovely atmosphere....very accommodating staff

A standard Testaccio bar, quite expensive. The aperitivo menu is mediocre for Rome, with pre-packaged potatoes, pizza scraps, etc., freshly made and/or reheated. Friendly and helpful staff.

A very local bar and pub in the afternoon that is also open for simple salad lunches. Portions are super generous and prices are low, they dont charge to have your coffee outside or at a table (something many places in Rome started doing)!

We had most of our breakfast here during our stay in rome. A great cafe with great service. The food was really good. It was really cheap which made that even more amazing.

We were passing through Testaccio and stopped for a quick aperitivo. We had a great time; good cocktails, a bite to eat, and friendly, attentive service. I'd go back.

A wonderful, non-touristy spot with indoor and outdoor seating that we visited almost every day – either before or after dinner (and sometimes both). The drinks are good and reasonably priced, and they also offer some small bites – we especially liked the cold cuts and cheese plate. The staff was always friendly and quick, and we felt completely comfortable and welcome every time. Be aware that they completely close at 10 pm, i.e. they start cleaning around 9 pm and it can become a little uncomfortable and smelly when you are inside.
