Terrazza Borromini In Roma

This is NOT a 5 star hotel. It is not horrible but definitely not as advertised. During our stay in May 2025 our air-con did not work properly and the room was always hot. There was no shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner, and only one small cake of soap on the vanity and nothing in the shower. The bed was uncomfortable with a hump in middle and you could feel the springs. The bathroom fit out, while new, was poor quality and the floor and walls covered in fake marble. At breakfast the ordered coffee was lukewarm and the scrambled eggs were dry (we were first to arrive at opening). The hallway carpet was poor quality and always dirty. While the location was fantastic, this doesn’t mean it is a 5 star hotel. There are many other hotels in this area that represent better value.

Staying at Eitch Borromini was truly unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond, offering warm, personalized service—including vegan dishes specially prepared off-menu just for us, which was such a thoughtful and rare touch. The location couldn’t be more ideal—right in the heart of historic Rome, with many iconic sites within easy walking distance. Every evening, we joined the locals for a leisurely "passeggiare" through charming piazzas and winding streets, soaking in the city's timeless beauty. The rooftop bar was our favorite way to unwind at the end of each day—peaceful, scenic, and with the kind of relaxed vibe that makes you want to linger. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, providing the perfect retreat after full days of exploring. From the breathtaking views of Piazza Navona to the elegant atmosphere, every detail made us feel immersed in the magic of Rome. We’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Amazing location, beautiful building, nicely designed rooms and bathroom. The bed mattress is ok, not great. Very nice breakfast, tables over seeing Piazza Navona. Staff are very friendly and nice. Especially the front desk.

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante durante il nostro soggiorno all’Hotel Borromini, una splendida cornice per il lungo fine settimana di Pasqua. La location è senza dubbio uno dei suoi punti di forza: affacciato direttamente su Piazza Navona, regala una vista mozzafiato, soprattutto nelle ore serali, quando le luci della città accendono la magia di uno dei luoghi più iconici di Roma. Il servizio è stato impeccabile sotto ogni aspetto: personale cortese, disponibile, attento ai dettagli senza mai risultare invadente. Un’accoglienza calda ma elegante, capace di farci sentire coccolati dall’inizio alla fine della serata. Il menù propone una selezione di piatti che coniugano sapori della tradizione e tocchi di creatività, con una grande attenzione alla qualità delle materie prime. Ogni portata è presentata con cura, ben bilanciata nei sapori e nelle consistenze. Dall’antipasto al dolce, tutto si è rivelato all’altezza delle aspettative. Particolarmente apprezzabile il rapporto qualità-prezzo, sorprendente per una location di questo livello e per la centralità della posizione. Un luogo che riesce a coniugare l’eleganza e la bellezza della cornice storica con un’ottima proposta gastronomica. Senza dubbio una delle esperienze più piacevoli del nostro soggiorno a Roma. Eitch Borromini is a charming and personal hotel with a very high standard. The service is excellent – ​​the staff are both friendly and professional, whether it's reception, restaurant or cleaning. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is stylish and well maintained. The breakfast buffet offers everything you could wish for, and there is also a special menu for those who want something out of the ordinary. The location is unbeatable. We're already looking forward to going back.

BED BUGS: I hate to write this review as I always try to settle issues privately (with the hotel manager), but I got zero response from hotel management despite several requests. I just finished a four day stay here. This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The front desk staff were friendly. The breakfast was great. That being said, I woke up one morning to a bug crawling across my sheets (I checked - it was a bed bug). I was leaving for the day and discreetly told the front desk staff. They said they will take care of it immediately. I asked that someone from the hotel call me as I was not returning until ~19:30. Nobody did. When I returned, I was told that the sheets had been changed. I was also offered a new room. I declined since I was leaving the next morning and didn't want to pack up yet. When I checked out the next morning, I paid my bill. I told the man that I really wanted some kind of compensation and was disappointed that I did not hear from a manager the day before. He said he would talk to his manager and that they would reach out. I told him that I don't want to have to share my experience publicly - he looked concerned and said he would hope that I would try to sort things out with the hotel directly first. Well, nobody contacted me that day either. I then sent an email with images of the bug and my itchy bite. That was 3 days ago - no response. So overall this is a good hotel, but it is disappointing that management did not take the bed bug issue seriously and just my request to talk to a manager. I expect more from any hotel, especially one that bills itself as a five star one.

Exceptional hotel in the historic and iconic Palazzo Pamphilij directly overlooking Piazza Navona. Unbeatable kindness, competence and courtesy of the staff!

¡Un restaurante tan hermoso! Nuestro primer día en el hotel y estábamos agotados de viajar, así que decidimos comer en el restaurante de nuestro hotel. La comida era espectacular, la vista desde nuestra mesa era encantadora, y el servicio por Mauro era perfecto! Nos hizo sugerencias maravillosas porque estábamos demasiado cansados para decidir qué pedir. Los langostinos eran deliciosos, los boloñeses estupendos, y los vinos que seleccionaba eran tan muy buenos. Gracias Mauro por hacer de nuestra primera noche en Roma una que nunca olvidaremos!
