Terra Mia In Calcata

In visita a Calcata siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante con le famiglie e ci siamo trovati magicamente. Il locale molto ben curato si trova proprio all’inizio del borgo antico e offre sistemazioni sia all’interno che all’esterno. Noi siamo stati fatti accomodare in una saletta interna molto bella e riservata. Il menù è vario e ricco di piatti interessanti, ogni portata è stata ottima. Molto buona anche la scelta dei vini, la proprietaria è di una gentilezza e cortesia uniche. Tornerei a Calcata solo per questo ristorante. Consigliatissimo

Positive experience. We booked the day before to be sure of finding a place and it is advisable to do so because, if you want to eat inside, the restaurant has two small but very intimate rooms. Normal waiting times and pleasant staff. Good quality food and fair prices. However, if you really want to make an observation, I would suggest increasing the portions which are at the minimum limit.

We chose this restaurant because it offers local dishes. The environment is pleasant and tells the story of the area, the service is impeccable. I chose a wine among the many offered and the waitress introduced me to the history of that wine. The dishes are original and refined, we didn't simply "ate" but lived an experience.

Lunch inside in the entrance hall near the window. The environment is delicate with sober colours, wooden tables and chairs, photographic books that tell of the Agro Falisco area and beyond. The service is attentive and takes great care to describe the ingredients of the dishes. Original menu with seasonal local products and the wine list has local wines but also others. We ate an appetizer consisting of a bed of fresh fennel with oranges and a simply divine crunchy porchetta blanket, followed by a pasta stuffed with scamorza and artichokes and adorned with some petals, truly very good and light (it looked like two stuffed crêpes). We drank a local red wine barricaded for 12 months which went perfectly with the dishes we tasted. Pleasant, low-volume music plays in the background. I highly recommend it. I advise you to park in Calcata nuova and go down the path, keeping high. There are some free spaces and then the paid car park from which the pedestrian path starts which allows a splendid view of Calcata Vecchia as you approach the restaurant which is located at the entrance to the pedestrian area

A place that has remained in my heart since the first time and has become a fixed destination for our lunches for more than a year. Sweet and friendly staff. The place doesn't have many tables and I recommend booking in advance because even just the journey from Rome is worth it. On nice days it is also possible to eat outside. The menu is always a surprise as the ingredients often change with the seasons. From personal experience I recommend focusing on the starters and first courses which I find truly exceptional. Even the desserts deserve a lot!!

Posto tranquillissimo per un ottimo pranzo, prima o dopo la visita del borgo. Cibo ottimo e freschissimo; servizio amichevole e puntualissimo. Altamente raccomandato. Grazie
