06/01/2025: I've been to Maria twice, years apart: once for Christmas and the other for Boxing Day. On both occasions the cuisine was super excellent. And abundant is an understatement, considering the impressive number of starters that will make you lose count! The environment is familiar, the staff are very kind and make you feel immediately at home, even though the place is always full and with many tables to serve.
I highly recommend arriving on an empty stomach for several hours, otherwise it is impossible to get to the bottom of the menu! If you really wanted to find a small "flaw" (if you can call it that), it's that you spend too many hours at the table, but this is part of Italian culture and is a question of personal taste and needs.
In any case, highly recommended! I will definitely go back.
02/01/2025: In this restaurant, like the town that hosts it, it seems that time has stopped. Tradition, quality of food, variety, abundance and courtesy are the precious values that this family of restaurateurs has preserved and handed down for generations, resisting the spread and promotion of junk food multinationals, soulless restaurants or, even worse, the proliferation of sushi. We are the number 1 homeland of good food and wine in the world. Honor to Maria where I found the time when my grandmother, mother and sisters prepared epic banquets.
