Tequila Bistrot In Ceraso

We've been coming to Cilento for twenty years and had never been to Tequila Bistrot. The restaurant is a hidden gem; you first have to negotiate a dark, unlit road to reach it and hope not to be surprised by wild boars crossing the road. The owner was already waiting for us when we arrived at the restaurant and was very friendly and hospitable, telling us fascinating stories about the places where he lived and worked. The dishes are simple but tasty and reasonably priced. Recommended if you want to eat something different from Italian cuisine and experience cuisines from another continent. For me, it's important that the overall picture is harmonious—the service, the food, the price, and the location—and that was certainly the case here. I've added the address to my list of favorite restaurants in Cilento so I can return.

That was absolutely delicious! It wasn't your typical Italian restaurant. We had more of a Mexican meal, but it was very, very good and well worth the trip. It wasn't too expensive either. I highly recommend it. :)

We had dinner the other evening at this restaurant, 15 minutes from Ascea, discovered after some research. Truly surprising and original, all our expectations were confirmed, the dishes were well-prepared and the service was very friendly and cordial... an alternative to the monotonous and overpriced restaurants in the area... we will definitely be back.
