A stunning room in a fantastic estate. All this was complemented by a top-notch wellness center, where we enjoyed a couples massage and wine therapy. We also dined on site, where Chef Aldo offered a truly rich and sophisticated menu. Highly recommended

The estate is a true oasis of peace, dedicated to relaxation and well-being. The cuisine features locally grown and harvested produce, expertly prepared by the chef, who communicates and shares his choices. The leavened products are all prepared on the estate using ancient grains and the wisdom of times gone by. The welcome is unparalleled, and Antonella, the hostess, conveys the warmth of someone who embraces this work with joy and passion.

I attended the grape harvest event on Sunday, September 28th. I contacted them on WhatsApp for information and was told the event was free and that lunch would be street food, meaning we'd only pay for what we consumed. The day before, due to the predicted bad weather, they posted on social media that there would be some changes to the program, meaning the grape harvest wouldn't take place and lunch would be served inside. No further details were given! When we arrived, Antonella greeted us, telling us they'd had to contend with rain but that we'd still take a walk in the vineyard, but without ever mentioning lunch. The walk was beautiful: we picked various aromatic and beneficial herbs, an apple each, and the grapes they gave us as gifts. They then offered us a glass of wine and bread with frittata, reminiscent of the farmers' break in the past. When we returned inside for lunch, they didn't say anything except that we could sit at the table... I must say, it was beautifully set. At the table, we found sparkling and still water and white wine already opened; we didn't drink anything. Seeing that others had Coke, we ordered it, and the waiter immediately wrote down my last name. There was no menu on the table, so we expected the waiters to come and bring one or tell us what we could choose for lunch. Instead, they served us a meager appetizer full of dried edible flowers, along with focaccia bread, beefsteak tomatoes with mozzarella, and nachos. The strange thing was that no one ever told us what we were getting, whether we could order, or whether there was a menu, nor were we even asked if we had any intolerances or allergies. It was all a surprise! When the first course arrived, I realized I was full, so we got up and went outside for a bit. At the reception desk, I found a sheet of paper with the lunch menu on it. It had finally appeared; I was seeing it for the first time. I read that there were still other courses, so I made sure to let the waiters know that, not knowing there would be a lunch of this kind but that we would be eating street food or in any case expecting to eat only what we wanted, I didn't want anything else served. The waiters were kind and asked me several times if I wanted anything else, but I always refused... then they served me dessert even though I had repeatedly said no, so to avoid it being thrown away, I asked if they could wrap it for me since others had also asked for takeaway. When it came time to pay, with the chef present and knowing full well that I hadn't had the whole meal served, they charged us €35 each plus the €4 Coke for a total of €74. Not a word about the fact that I had asked to stop lunch, a lunch we were unaware of and whose courses we didn't know about 🙃. I also made sure to check WhatsApp and email and review their social media channels, thinking I'd missed the communication, but no, it wasn't written anywhere and no one had ever mentioned it to us. But why did we have to pay for a full lunch that we couldn't choose? One that we didn't know the ingredients for? And how come the Coke was immediately marked down but I hadn't consumed the rest of the lunch, nor the wine and water? At this point I would have had the rest packaged up too. I think there was a general lack of respect and communication... they announced street food and then didn't communicate that things had changed 😅 also, they organize a menu with a higher price and with special courses and don't disclose it; we would have opted for a single menu because, having health issues and allergies, I had difficulty eating so much and finding flowers and herbs everywhere 😅 I was really upset because I didn't expect this disrespectful behavior!! 😐

We received an exceptional welcome from Antonella, who was incredibly kind to us from the Saturday we arrived to the Sunday we left. The receptionist, Matilde, was also very kind, and advised us over the phone on how to best manage the program. Finally, the wellness masseuses, Anna and Sara, were exceptional. Furthermore, all the food was delicious, from dinner to breakfast, all freshly prepared by the chef. Furthermore, we also visited their vineyard where we tasted some delicious wine. A wonderful experience, I recommend it to everyone.

The estate boasts a breathtaking view, surrounded by greenery, which immediately conveys a sense of peace and tranquility. We stayed in a spacious and airy suite with three French windows and two small balconies: bright and welcoming upon first impression. However, there are some areas that could be improved: the furnishings are very baroque, and the velvet dressers, besides not meeting my personal taste, are impractical because they tend to collect dust. The presence of plastic flowers both in the bedroom and in the common areas doesn't add value; in fact, they clash with the natural beauty of the place. Cleanliness, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired: the bedspread, which I already dislike in hotels, was dirty on the inside, and we even found a pajama top behind the sofa bed, a sign that cleaning isn't done with due care. Dinner, on the other hand, was a very pleasant surprise: plentiful, with excellent, well-prepared ingredients, thanks to the truly talented chef. Breakfast, on the other hand, seemed too meager: just a croissant, juice, and a few sweets, nothing up to the standard of dinner. The private spa, which the three of us tried, was a relaxing experience: we were very pleased with the ladies' welcome, the wine and herbal tea program, and the truly pleasant body massage. However, even here, more attention to detail would be appreciated: the space feels a bit dated, and the bathrobes, not particularly soft or scented, detracted somewhat from the experience. In conclusion, Tenuta Ippocrate has all the potential to be an unforgettable place: enchanting views, tranquility, and friendly staff. With greater attention to detail and, above all, cleanliness, it could truly rival other high-end establishments.

There are no words to describe it. The owner, my dear lady, is incredibly welcoming ❤️ The rooms are all wonderful and the service is impeccable ❤️ The chef is excellent and the grandmother's specialties are delicious ❤️ I got married there and have been coming since 2018 ❤️ I return every year and it's always enchanting, I'd never leave ❤️

I stayed at this facility for a bit of relaxation a few months ago, but I haven't left a review yet, so I'm doing so now. Ms. Antonella, who works at the spa, was the highlight of the two days I spent there.

A place for the soul, where good food goes hand in hand with good living, and where Doctor Fusco dispenses valuable advice on how to use food as medicine, to heal and stay well! A highly recommended place.
