I visited this pub a few weeks ago while on vacation, and I was immediately impressed. The atmosphere is truly welcoming, the kind of place where you walk in and immediately feel at ease. The food is also excellent, especially the meat, which is truly excellent both in quality and cooking. I was particularly impressed by the shin of pork with mushrooms. Unfortunately, the evening was somewhat ruined by the service. One waiter in particular had a truly annoying and inappropriate attitude. I understand the desire to be friendly and create a sense of humor, but this went too far. He kept shouting for no reason, making scenes, singing, and behaving extremely unprofessionally. He also made unsolicited comments and made some rather embarrassing jokes. Frankly, such behavior, besides being childish, also comes across as quite rude. And it's a real shame, because the place itself is truly worth a visit and the food is excellent. With more balanced service, it would have been a practically perfect evening.

Dinner was good, the atmosphere was friendly, and we could talk despite the music. However, even though we were foreign tourists, I didn't appreciate the waiter throwing the cutlery on the table.

Always top-notch food. Never disappoints.

Nice, well-organized Irish-style pub

Everything was top, only one small flaw was that the girls serving forgot about an order to be brought and brought it later, but it was really top.

Great place to spend time with friends

I had pretty high expectations when I went to Tennent's Grill with a friend. We had a burger with cheese and bacon, and honestly, for around €19, I was expecting something truly special. The sandwich was good, the meat and bacon well-made, but it didn't give me that "wow" feeling that justifies such a price. Let's just say I found it comparable to burgers I've had elsewhere at lower prices. One thing that made me turn up my nose a little was that, at that price, fries weren't included: these days, in many places, when you pay for a burger in that range, they're included, so that's something I noticed. The place is nice and comfortable, but overall, my expectations were a bit disappointed, especially given the value for money. A very positive note, however, goes to the staff: they were really kind, helpful, and always smiling: this definitely raises my rating. Wait times were also normal, so the service overall was good.
