Whenever I feel like indulging in a sinful indulgence, I head to Ciccio's for one of his Pangoccioli: soft brioches, or rather, "brioches," that you can fill as you please, choosing from a multitude of fillings on the spot, a fact that always raises profound Hamletic doubts in me. The place is small, and inside are photos and memorabilia that showcase the owner's passion for Roma, something I personally appreciate and share. In addition to desserts, there are also savory dishes, which I won't comment on, since I'm a sweet tooth and have never actually tried them. I prefer going during the week because, on weekends, the line of customers to get in is incredibly long, so much so that it spills onto the sidewalk in front. However, as far as Pangoccioli are concerned, there are various types: from the simple filled ones to the ones embellished with a snack "embedded" in the top part, obviously at a higher price.

Great, super Ciccio, after a terrible dinner experience, I tried this place. There's a bit of a line, but in Rome, with the right people, you connect even if you're cold. It's a small place full of fun, fantastic staff, Romans without a filter. Then the star appears (SUPER CICCIO), and with his jokes and dances, he'll make you laugh even if you've just come from a funeral. YOU'RE GREAT. I won a prize for the PANCA... with a little game he pulls out every now and then, right on my birthday. The brioches are all delicious and fantastic, with so many variations. I've had 14 and I'm still enjoying them. Thanks, super Ciccio, see you soon. Go there and let yourself be fooled, in Rome, that's what you do. Never disappoints. Excellent selection of sweet and savory treats. Always open. Kindness, courtesy, and a wealth of friendliness and expertise.

Delicious pastries, cakes, croissants, and donuts. You'll want to try them all. A must-try when I'm not in the area. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable for what they offer.

A homey place well-known to Roman night owls, it seems to have stuck at least in the '90s... soft croissants to fill with any sweet filling you like and the famous pangoccioli, responsible for late-night queues... absolutely worth trying.

Excellent croissants after a night out, shame about the lady serving the croissants, she always seems a bit grumpy.
