A very typical rustic place that certainly tells a lot. However, I expected much, much more. The service was very confusing even though there was a very young waiter who was very friendly and nice. I didn't like anything about the food other than the grilled meat and tartare. The welcome entrée for me was stale, the tartlet was practically wet under the nuts of the cheese tasting they were really bad but the worst thing was the sweet fried filo pastry with cream the filo pastry was fried very badly full of oil which had a really bad taste aftertaste of old oil.

Unfortunately we were not given the wine list but rather simply proposed and served without having an idea of ​​the price. But the choice was still level. The dishes are very carefully presented and paired. The tasting of the cheeses was too "minimal"... I would have liked at least one bite of each type each to be able to really savor them. Right doses for picanha ham and pata negra. Excellent. I don't like meat much, but there are some alternatives...I still loved this place for the pampering dedicated to me starting from the personalized card and the gluten free dishes specially prepared for me. We love the particularly welcoming and clean atmosphere of the place and come back often. However, this time the portions were not large enough and we were left hungry. The carpaccio was really good, but we added some olive oil because the flavor was a bit plain. Out of 200g of meat, 40g was just fat. The wines were excellent. Final bill of €180 for 2 people, too expensive for the quantity served.

I would like to start by saying that we are and will remain loyal customers but there were some things about the lunch on 25 December that we did not like and which I will list below with the sole intention of providing constructive criticism. 1)Welcome flute, a few minutes of wine and appetizers at the table...we would have liked a few more minutes to finish the flute. 2)Married soup to share but brought in a single dish and impossible, because it is brothy, to use a brought dish for other appetizers. In my opinion it would be better to divide it into smaller bowls directly in the kitchen. 3) the meat second courses for 2 people consisted of 2 dishes of lamb and side dish and 1 dish with steak grilled to share. The problem was having everything on the table at the same time with the inevitable cooling of the meat. 4) Last sore point, (because the dessert, as we know, closes the lunch in style,) the mix of desserts designed for this Christmas. Struffoli with very little honey so much so that they already appear dry...only tasted. Chunks of pastiera also dry...Last Christmas we liked it so much that we bought a whole one.Mini single portion of ricotta cream and to finish 2 roccocos that we left out completely. Here too I remember that last Christmas you presented in the mix a taste of your special panettone in addition to the well-made struffoli and pastiera.

Tavernetta Colauri è un'esperienza esclusiva in termini culinari con un'accoglienza che va aldilà di ogni aspettativa. Ogni pietanza, oltre alla bonta' (il livello è molto alto), viene servita senza tralasciare nulla al caso, nelle giuste dimensioni e con equilibrio perfetto degli ingredienti scelti. Un plauso va al personale di sala, gentile ed attento alle richieste del cliente, ed in particolare a Nicola persona squisita e molto disponibile! Per chi ama mangiare bene e di gusto consiglio di provare TC!

Si mangia benissimo, la selezione di vini è infinita, il personale gentile ed educato, oltre che affettuoso. I prezzi forse un po’ elevati, ma quando vuoi mangiare carne ottima questo è… abbiamo fatto menù degustazione di carne per provarne di diverse, a 115€ a coppia, con dolce, bevande escluse. Esperienza da rifare.
