Excellent little seafood restaurant nestled in the porticoes of central Mestre... Phenomenal, carefully prepared dishes, a smart-casual atmosphere suitable for both a business lunch and a romantic dinner, and a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely kind owner. The only downside is that since there's only her and her husband in the kitchen, don't expect fast service: La Scuea is for enjoying a meal, not for a quick sandwich, remember that! In any case, a highly recommended place! Oh, and ps: the place is small, so it's best to book in advance!

22/02/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times, and I have to say the quality is good—in fact, yesterday I had an exceptional risotto. The only dish not worth eating is the raw antipasto: the quality and quantity don't match the price. What a shame!
19/02/2026: A restaurant located among the fascinating and historic fishermen's scales. The raw fish is refined and high-quality, although individual portions could be slightly more generous. The raw mantis shrimp paired with caviar and flavored oil are very good. The local fish (in our case, sea bream) undoubtedly delights the palate, paired well with an extensive wine list featuring several high-quality producers.
