We went to this place for an aperitif. There are seats both inside and outside. I have to say the best drinks in the area. The cost is honest. The fries were really great. We will be back to try the desserts too

I didn't like the barman's tone of voice, not even taking the time to see and decide what to have, he immediately asked to go to the cash register... inappropriate and rude behavior towards even those who were going for the first time.

It seemed impossible to find a pastry shop in the area with a sugar free option for a birthday cake. Instead Taverna Cinque has proven to be a patisserie par excellence even if they don't normally have this option. I thank all the staff for their kindness and helpfulness and especially Maila. Thank you so much💕 The best pastry shop and bar in the area.

Good bar, assorted, has good croissants but for coffee there is better even if to tell the truth in Rome they give little importance to coffee in fact as blends you can hardly find kenon, Izzo or illy

Torno dopo un paio di anni in questo bar d'angolo sulla via Trionfale poco proma per il bivio della Torrevecchia. Anche questa volta ambulanze di passaggio e non è stato facile scambiare choiacchiere nella pur bella zona attrezzata esterna. Devbo dire che i prezzi di cappuccino e croissant (molto buono) sono rimasti piacevolemnte fermi da allora. Servizio cordiale e tempestivo . Tolgo un punto poichè lo scontrino datomi dopo il pagamento (ed allegato) non mi risulterebbe, salvo prova, tanto fiscale.

Frequentavo questo posto durante il lock down, essendo regolare aperto probabilmente perché dotato di licenza di panificio. Già allora mi parve caro. E leggo che almeno la metà delle recensioni lamenta esattamente questo. Sono tornato stamattina ed ho pagato per cappuccino e cornetto al banco i prezzi che si pagano in centro. E sinceramente l’indirizzo è abbastanza avvilente e la qualità non certo eccelsa

Il Baffone

29/06/2025: I returned to Trattoria Il Baffone after several years. My last visit was marked by a sign indicating that only cash payments were accepted. During my recent stay in Rome, I called the restaurant to check if they now accepted credit cards and, having received a positive response, I decided to return. Trattoria Il Baffone is a typical Roman trattoria where you can taste traditional dishes of local cuisine. The management is still family-run, with Donato and his daughter welcoming and serving customers with kindness. You can eat both inside and outside. Despite temperatures exceeding 30°C this week, some customers preferred to eat outside. I enjoyed a delicious gricia, one of my favorite first courses of Roman cuisine, and Roman-style artichokes. I also took a photo with Donato, always available and friendly.
27/06/2025: Excellent restaurant, great value for money, abundant first courses and excellent second courses, very friendly staff.
