Like home. The Taverna San Lio is a charming establishment that makes you feel at home. Located in a strategic place in the Serenissima. Equidistant from three classic accesses to the city, first of all Rialto, but also from San Marco or Fondamente Nuove, and a half-hour delightful walk to the Ferrovia, it allows you to enjoy the sublime visual poetry that emanates from what in my modest opinion, based on a couple of dozen visits, is the most beautiful city in the world, incomparable with any other, since it competes in another category, and which you can only reproach that so much beauty manages to strike you and that it is difficult to assimilate. For this reason I usually make stays limited in time, leaving space for the next visit. In this establishment you will find the genuineness of Veneto, and when you are given the keys to the doors that lead you to your room, you will immediately feel like a resident of the city, since the structure is that of a conventional apartment in which a Venetian could reside. Inside the room you have all the usual services, with a well-equipped bathroom, television, air conditioning, and complimentary coffee/tea. A small refrigerator is also very useful. Continental breakfast ideal for travelers who value the quality and professionalism of the product and the attention of the staff. On the other hand, what really makes your stay unbeatable is the human warmth that the staff gives you. Giuglio is an extraordinary person, warm, empathetic, professional and everything that emanates from him and the rest of the staff is a poetic declaration of love for the profession. I recommend that you also pay attention to the restaurant. Here you will find an elaborate cuisine that mixes tradition with the refined taste of haute cuisine with high quality products and the best preparation. Grazie ancora, siete statti tutti bravissimi. The friendly owners and staff make your stay very pleasant, both sleeping and dining. The location is ideal, nestled in a charming street and shopping district with many lovely Venetian restaurants (where the food was delicious) and other dining options, all within a 5-minute walk of the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square.

A quality restaurant in Venice, offering original dishes and a good wine list. Prices are a bit high, but the refined atmosphere and good food make them worth it.
