A must when in Rome! Amazing food and wonderful owners.

Welcomed warmly by two ladies of a certain age, only two people in the kitchen. Nothing to do with tourist traps, here we don't solicit you in the street, we cultivate authenticity. I tasted exquisite Maltagliati with artichokes and fried bacon (probably the best dish, the best pasta I ate during our entire stay) here we feel that it is cooked with the love of things well done. Very good value for money in my opinion, the wines remain very accessible compared to other Roman establishments. Quite simply a huge thank you, of course I highly recommend it!

Was kindly greeted by two older ladies. Very authentic atmosphere and only a few seats. The food was sublime and the wines were cheap. All in all a really good experience. Remember to book a table.

“Non bisogna giudicare i libri dalla copertina” una frase famosa che invita a non giudicare dalle apparenze e della cui validità non ho mai dubitato. Questa sera ne ho avuto una ulteriore dimostrazione con la Taverna di Ripetta. Questa sera il ristorante che avevo scelto era pieno e, poiché era ormai tardi, ho scelto il locale più vicino all’hotel senza informarmi. Quando sono arrivato dinanzi al ristorante, piccolo e con un ingresso angusto, un menu’ con pochi piatti che non davano indizi sulla cucina ho pensato di aver sbagliato. E invece ho dovuto ricredermi prima per la gentilezza di Fatima, la padrona pronta ad accoglierti con un sorriso ed una gentilezza di stile orientale poi per la qualità dei piatti, semplici ma eseguiti con cura e materia prima di qualità. Davvero buona la insalata di seppie con melone e mandorle fresca e con un giusto equilibrio di sapori tra il dolce del melone e l’acidità del limone. Ottima anche la cacio e pepe così come la tagliata. Tra i dolci da segnalare il bonet piemontese forse appena meno morbido di quello tradizionale. Porzioni generose (l’insalata di seppie la abbiamo divisa in tre per finirla) carta dei vini semplice e prezzi adeguati

I've eaten around the world, and this has to be one of the best meals and experiences of my life. Highlight of Rome, no shadow of doubt. If you're in Rome, just go, simple as that, thank me later. Everyone there was lovely and friendly, the owner Fatima was a delight

Authentic, small, family-run Italian restaurant, very cozy and private. The food was excellent, the quality of the pasta was unsurpassed, the ingredients were of high quality and the treatment from the ladies who owned the restaurant was really close and friendly. The best restaurant in Rome to live the authentic Italian experience. Ah!! And they have a dachshund, a beauty, she walks through the restaurant walking among the diners, she is very affectionate and calm. We fell in love with her.

The sweet ladies who welcomed and served us were super kind and nice. They made us feel very comfortable. We tried an appetizer and the carbonara. Everything fabulous! For foreign tourists: The place is small and welcoming, so book or you won't find a seat! You can also book without calling, just use one of the services available such as TheFork. Passando per caso, ci siamo fermati attirati dall'ambiente semplice e rustico. Le signore molto gentili e premurose. Abbiamo preso un buon cous-cous vegetale. Cacio e pepe eccezionale. Prezzi buoni. Da ritornare
