Taverna Ripetta In Roma

Visitng from Texas. Came in here on a last minute reservation (reservations only) and I'm glad we did. Food was great. Restaurant was small and intimate and it did not seem like a tourist type of place. Perfect size to wind down the evening away from the crowds.

Authentic Italian food like made by Nonna

Calm and family atmosphere, with pretty works hanging on the wall. The dishes are exquisite and well presented (grilled octopus with small vegetables, creamy mascarpone tiramisu...). The little dachshund in the restaurant is so cute. I recommend, for the authenticity of the place, and the flavor of the dishes!

Taverna Ripetta is by far the best restaurant in Rome for us. We even went back the next day to taste the rest of the menu and once again spend a memorable evening alongside Donatello and Fatima! Intimate room (approximately 20 seats) simple but very well managed menu, traditional and seasonal. In the kitchen and in the service it is a favorite. Thank you ❤️

This taverna is a small authentic Italian restaurant. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is home feeling. This is the third time here, and every time, the pasta was fresh and delicious. I also tried the risotto and the tiramissu. All delicious! The owner comes to see the clients, and her cute dog is also around. I recommend this restaurant if you enjoy good food and cozy ambiance.

Small restaurant run by two very kind ladies who create a family environment that is very rare to find nowadays. Really excellent and top quality food. Very pleasant environment with soft lighting. A real gem in the center of Rome! Highly recommended

We received this recommendation from.a local couple (max and Virginia) on a bus from the central station. After almost 12 days in Italy this was by far out best meal. We loved the restaurant , the wine that fatima recommended was amazing and the food was incredible!! My husband who hates coffee and tiramisu, loved Fatima's Tiramisu and has.been completely converted! Great place, if you want authentic experience, please go 🙏🏻

“Non bisogna giudicare i libri dalla copertina” una frase famosa che invita a non giudicare dalle apparenze e della cui validità non ho mai dubitato. Questa sera ne ho avuto una ulteriore dimostrazione con la Taverna di Ripetta. Questa sera il ristorante che avevo scelto era pieno e, poiché era ormai tardi, ho scelto il locale più vicino all’hotel senza informarmi. Quando sono arrivato dinanzi al ristorante, piccolo e con un ingresso angusto, un menu’ con pochi piatti che non davano indizi sulla cucina ho pensato di aver sbagliato. E invece ho dovuto ricredermi prima per la gentilezza di Fatima, la padrona pronta ad accoglierti con un sorriso ed una gentilezza di stile orientale poi per la qualità dei piatti, semplici ma eseguiti con cura e materia prima di qualità. Davvero buona la insalata di seppie con melone e mandorle fresca e con un giusto equilibrio di sapori tra il dolce del melone e l’acidità del limone. Ottima anche la cacio e pepe così come la tagliata. Tra i dolci da segnalare il bonet piemontese forse appena meno morbido di quello tradizionale. Porzioni generose (l’insalata di seppie la abbiamo divisa in tre per finirla) carta dei vini semplice e prezzi adeguati

Passando per caso, ci siamo fermati attirati dall'ambiente semplice e rustico. Le signore molto gentili e premurose. Abbiamo preso un buon cous-cous vegetale. Cacio e pepe eccezionale. Prezzi buoni. Da ritornare
