We should have stuck to their specialty, which is fish. The steak was orderd rare and served well done; chicken overcooked. But both were very delicious. The glass of red wine I had was superb! Very friendly staff.

On the recommendation of the owner of the B&B where I stayed during my brief visit to Marsala with my wife, we dined here. The dining room is truly charming and well-kept, the staff is very friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious, plentiful, and arrived promptly. Excellent value for money. RECOMMENDED!

We (four of us) came to this restaurant on the recommendation of our host. On the evening of our arrival in Marsala, since we hadn't booked and it was a Saturday, they couldn't accommodate us (unfortunately), but they directed us to another restaurant that we liked, so we booked for the following evening, also thanking them for their kindness the night before. Well... we had such a good time and enjoyed the food so much that we returned the following evening (after we left Marsala). They treated us like friends, as if we were longtime customers, making us feel right at home. The first courses were good, the fish was good, the handmade couscous (off the menu) was good, and the eggplant caponata (my "test" dish) was good. The wine, the Marsala, and the desserts were also good. There was a surprise at checkout, but I don't want to reveal anything because nothing is owed. I can only thank Enrico and reiterate my compliments for how he manages the place, where you can't tell who's the owner and who's the staff, so much so that harmony reigns. My intention is to return to Marsala and to Taverna 48. Best regards to everyone and thank you again.
