Magnificent! Excellent wine, superb service, and dreamy dishes! An explosion of flavor.

We always return to places where the food is good, even if the weather isn't great. Last night I returned to Taverna 48 and, as always, I was satisfied. The service is prompt, the staff is friendly and professional. Centrally located, in fact, last night I had planned to stroll downtown after dinner. I was with two people who aren't Marsala residents, although one of them is a regular there, but, alas, a sudden rain shower and a sharp drop in temperature prevented it. Thanks to the staff for accepting the reservation. Even though it was Saturday, they reserved a table for three of us, which was supposed to seat four, near the entrance door. However, given the shape of the restaurant, there were at least three of us sharing the same table. So, due to the change in temperature outside, we felt the temperature change every time the door opened. This is DEFINITELY not the restaurant's fault; it's winter in Marsala, too! Special thanks to a member of staff who promptly noticed a forgotten cell phone and immediately retrieved it from the table. See you soon!

Food was great, very tastefull. Lacked a bit of salt in my opinion, but that's just individual taste and better than the other way around. Staff was really great and seemed to enjoy us as guests. Interior design was just as tasteful as the food and I really enjoyed the soul and slow blues music during the evening.

A very positive experience, not only for the food, but also for the interesting explanations we received in choosing Marsala and another fortified wine from the owner, a connoisseur and a truly exquisite person.
